Other lotions always made me feel grimy even after an hour at the beach. The fragrance is also appealing (very light and fresh smelling).
My only negative is that this sunscreen does bother my eyes, even though I don't put it on my face (I wear a large brimmed hat and sit under an umbrella so I don't get much sun on my face). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

I also experienced no breakouts or irritations, so it can be used both on the face and the body. However, the sunblock I put on my arms and shoulders eventually pilled up and peeled off a bit, and it didn't protect as well as it should have. It's a great sunblock for everyday double-duty, but if you're going to be outdoors a lot, I'd suggest using a water resistant sports sunblock for your body. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Then I noticed my eyes would sting and get watery throughout the day. This only occurred when I used this sunscreen. I was so disappointed!!! I still use it on my body since it is so light and protects great! I have since bought the "active" version of this sunscreen which I have used once, and haven't noticed any eye irritation yet. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

No breakouts, no extra shine, I can wear it under my makeup and it looks great and feels like nothing is there! This is the best HANDS DOWN! I only wish they made one with a little tint in it! I suppose I could make my own tube by mixing a little foundation in with the sunscreen! :) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I bought this product ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 6/15/04I bought this product this Spring and I love it! I have sensitive combination skin, and I can use it every day and reapply as needed. It leaves my face smooth and not shiny at all. The texture is not greasy, you would think it's a normal moisturizer, and it has a pleasant smell (very mild). I think for the winter months I will have to apply some moisturizer because I live in Michigan and my face gets really dry, but for now it works great alone. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

I've tried dozens of sun blocks, and none is perfect. The Holy Grail is one that doesn't sting the eyes, but this one does sting mine. However, it soaks in quickly and then disappears, which I love because normally I feel so greasy halfway through my Hawaii workday I want to crawl out of my skin. I have tried NUMEROUS sunscreen products claiming to be non-stinging, light, sheer, etc., but they have never been any of those things. This one does exactly what is claimed. It is the first one I've tried that does not burn my eyes, and it really does feel completely dry within just a minute of applying. |
