Neutrogena Sunblock, Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF453 fl oz (88 ml)
A great all-over, everyday sunblock -- so absorbent and light you won't even notice it. Other perks of this dermatologist-recommended, broad-spectrum sunblock: antioxidants to fight environmental damage, waterproof, sweat-proof, and it won't clog pores. |

My dermatologist, who ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/1/07My dermatologist, who isn't in to fancy brands, recommended this because of the effectiveness of the ingredients. However, whenever I try Neutrogena sunscreens, my eyes burn for hours, which is never a problem with anything else I put on my face. If you're going to use any of these products, stay well away from the eye area and be sure to wash your hands after applyng the product. I'll stick with another highly recommended product, now that it can be imported legally.
At risk of sounding like ... by Adam in Owings Mills, MD on 5/25/07At risk of sounding like an advertisement, I'll say this is the best sunblock I've ever used - at least for the face. I have really sensitive, acne-prone skin that's often shedding in one spot and oily as the countertop at Waffle House in another. I recently spent some time out west in a national park getting blasted by the sun, and used this sunblock three days in a row. I didn't break out at all, and it kept the sun at bay. Though, it has to be applied frequently - especially if you're on anti-acne topical medications like I was - to really prevent a nasty sunburn. It moisturized so well I found I really didn't need to use my regular moisturizer. A good bet.
Love, love, love this ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 5/22/07Love, love, love this sunscreen for my face. Goes on with a matte finish that feels smooth and non-greasy. Doesn't make my face break out either. Hands-down, the best sunscreen out there for oily or acne prone skin. Finished my first bottle (which lasted 5 months) and just ordered another bottle.
As a sunblock, I would ... by Joseph in Boston, MA on 5/16/07As a sunblock, I would rate it a five. It's absorbent and non-greasy, overall just wonderful.
I'd also recommend it if you're looking to blind yourself or your loved ones. It's also a five for ocular discomfort, nay pain, if you get it into your eye. I haven't eaten it yet, but given the eye irritation, I don't think it's going to go well.
If you have oily skin or ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 5/9/07If you have oily skin or an oily t zone I can't recommend any of the neutrogena sunblocks for use on the face. Each time I've tried to use these, they seem fine the first day, then break out my skin very badly the next day. I develop almost a mask of small pimples all over my entire face, and they take at least a week to go away! I no longer use it. May work for normal or dry skin, but for my oily skin it was just terrible. I switched to Eucerin, no break outs.

The only sunscreen that ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 2/27/07The only sunscreen that ever stays on me while I am swimming!
I have to wear my contacts with goggles while swimming and I got so tired of other waterproof sunscreens stinging in my eyes from sweat and water - this stuff is magical! No drops in my eyes after swimming for over an hour!
This is an amazing product. It feels so smooth and natural after you put it on - compared to most waterproof sunscreens.
I also don't understand the "too heavy" thing - just rub it in! You are putting on a waterproof sweatproof product - of course, it won't feel nonexistent immediately.
The most waterproof rubproof sweatproof sunscreen around, and Ive tried them all. Perfect for contact wearers with sweaty faces or swimmers!
I wouldn't wear it for every day use on my face, but it is the ONLY thing I can wear on my face for sports and swimming - I love it!!

Fabulous product. Use it ... by Murray's in San Pedro, CA on 9/28/06Fabulous product. Use it daily for work. Goes on very clean and weightless even on my oily skin. There is a VERY similar product that is not DryTouch. I've made the mistake of using that product, and it was miserable. The DryTouch product is splendid.
Great sunblock for your ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 8/25/06Great sunblock for your face. I have oily Asian skin, and it goes on greasy, but absorbs pretty quickly. However, after a few hours it starts to melt, turns your face ultra greasy, and starts to sting your eyes. I heard Aveeno sunblocks are better. |
