Neutrogena Sunblock, Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF453 fl oz (88 ml)
A great all-over, everyday sunblock -- so absorbent and light you won't even notice it. Other perks of this dermatologist-recommended, broad-spectrum sunblock: antioxidants to fight environmental damage, waterproof, sweat-proof, and it won't clog pores. |

This is the best sun ... by Kate in Undisclosed on 7/24/06This is the best sun protection product that I have ever used. I am 35 and have very very fair skin. Exposure to strong sunlight will burn my skin within 10 minutes. I purchased this product in Dubai and was amazed that it was so light. One of the worst problems with fair skin is the poor quality of sun protection in high factors, particularly in England. Sticky thick creams are very uncomfortable. The anti-rub off feature is also a fantastic development in suncare - as my skin is so sensitive I have been paranoid about rub off on people, which has made going to markets in sunny climates an awful experience; trying to avoid other shoppers for fear that they will remove my cream and that I will then burn on those patches becasue I haven't realised.
I use this sunscreen ... by Richard in Sacramento, CA on 7/23/06I use this sunscreen everyday on my head and face. Goes on easily, isn't greasy. It really is dry touch. I recommend this to everyone who has to use sunscreen on their head and face.
I always wear sunblock on ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/16/06I always wear sunblock on my face, and prefer sunblock specifically made for the face. I used this sunblock once (borrowed from a friend) and did not like it at all! I play sports, and when I perspired, it ran into my eye and caused it to sting badly and caused extreme redness! I've had other sunblocks run into my eyes before, but they didn't cause as much irritation and discomfort as this did. (I've had no problem whatsoever with my current brand). I had to wash it off as soon as I was able to. I'm glad I was able to try it before buying it, as this was one of the brands that I was thinking about buying for next time.

-great for the ... by May in Phoenix, AZ on 6/20/06Pros:
-great for the body. I always hated putting on sunscreen because of the sticky greasiness, but this one makes you feel like your hardly wearing anything after it sinks in.
Cons:
-try to avoid using it on your face...I thought I could use this on my acne-prone skin, but I was wrong, it still made me break out.
-It makes make up smear all over!! Careful if you depend on make up to cover up anything on your face, this makes it way too greasy and shiny.
I would recommend this for the body, but not for the face.
I was excited to try this ... by christine in Los Angeles, CA on 6/14/06I was excited to try this sunscreen because of the name, but was disappointed in how greasy my face still looked after applying. I can live with that, but you have to be very careful not to touch your skin after applying it, because any touch, and it will just start peeling off like bits of lint. Worse, I started breaking out on my shoulders and neck after just one use. I am going to keep looking for a better sunscreen.
This sunblock is great! I ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 6/7/06This sunblock is great! I have oily skin, and it gets downright gross in the heat of NYC summers. I am easily disgusted by shiny finishes and heavy-feeling moisturizers. My skin can be sensitive as well, but so far no reactions, or pore clogging. I use this as my under makeup moisturizers as it contains antioxidants as well. I think it's the silica in the sunscreen that absorbs the oil so well. Plus it has avobenzone for broad spectrum protection and titanium dioxide (for a physical block). Until the FDA approves Meroxyl products in the USA this is all we've got!
The protection this ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 5/24/06The protection this sunscreen gives is great; Neutrogena always delivers on that end. I really didn't like the feel of this sunscreen, I actually found it to be somewhat greasier than other brands. Great coverage, but it doesn't give that "dry-touch" they promise.

My 9 year old daughter who never had breakouts before had breakouts on her face the next day. I didn't have breakouts for the last 10 years, and are having them after using the product.

Leaves your skin super soft and smooth and totally shine-free. I'm hooked on this and will probably never use anything else. Even provided great sun protection when I was in Hawaii and in the sun all day. |
