Neutrogena Sunblock, Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF453 fl oz (88 ml)
A great all-over, everyday sunblock -- so absorbent and light you won't even notice it. Other perks of this dermatologist-recommended, broad-spectrum sunblock: antioxidants to fight environmental damage, waterproof, sweat-proof, and it won't clog pores. |

The latest (and last) of ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 10/4/05The latest (and last) of the Neutrogena face products I've tried over about a 15 year period. Their face products, including this one, make my face break out. I'm not sure why they tout themselves as hypo-allergenic when the entire line contains fragrance, which is what I suspect it causing me troubles. I have been looking for a higher SPF face sunscreen to replace my current. I currently use Banana Boat for faces - SPF 23 and would love it if it only had a higher SPF.
This works wonderfully! I ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 8/28/05This works wonderfully! I have oily skin and usually have to wash my face and re-apply everything by 3:00, but this doesn't get greasy all day. I love the SPF 45 for my ultra-fair skin; I also love how a little goes a long way!
This sunscreen is REALLY ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 8/3/05This sunscreen is REALLY great. I am African American and have fairly dark skin. Most sunscreens looks white or ashy on my face, but not this one! It starts out very white, but if you just rub it in a little it totally disappears and truly is ultra sheer! I also have very oily skin, and although I get a little oily during the day, it is not because of this product! It goes on just a tiny bit greasy, but then turns pretty matte! I really love it! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because sometimes I think it can interact with my other face products and when I touch my face I can sort of tell I have it on. Also, if it gets too close to your eyes, it does sting a bit. Other than that it's really great though!
Very light and doesn't ... by Janie in Duluth, GA on 7/19/05Very light and doesn't have that beach smell like most sun blocks, so you can use it everyday. Great product.
This great sunblock lives ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/16/05This great sunblock lives up to its promise: it's lightweight and greaseless even as you apply it. I use it every day--hey, even on rainy days, summer or winter, the sun is still there -- and, because of its light, dry texture, it goes on ears and neck without mucking up hair or clothing. I also carry a tube with me in my backpack or purse to reapply sunblock throughout the day, especially on my hands after washing. I have fair, sensitive skin, and this stuff is super on my face as well -- everywhere but around the eyes. There I use a sunblock that seems to me to be more compatible with the eye area, such as Shiseido 55 or Clinique City Block. Whatever you use, please remember that the skin around your eyes needs protection too, and wearing sunglasses may not be as protective as wearing sunblock under those shades. After all, skin cancer is an equal-opportunity disease that occurs on skin--wherever that skin may be.
The only good thing about ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/15/05The only good thing about this is that it's relatively non-greasy and it has an unoffensive smell. It does flake off, though, which is pretty gross, and when I went out in the pool wearing it, I burned *badly*. Bleh.

I love that this ... by Dori in Undisclosed on 7/5/05I love that this sunscreen isn't greasy! I would recommend this sunscreen for most people. I have very fair skin, so I have found I need a higher SPF than this, otherwise I have to apply the sunscreen over and over again. For ordinary skin types, it should be better.
My husband works outside ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 6/26/05My husband works outside in the heat and humidity. He has to constantly fight oily skin from sunblock and sweating. This is one of the best products he has tried. At lunch he wipes his face clean and reapplies and second coat. He has not had any serious breakouts since using this product.
I usually love Neutrogena ... by angela b in chicago, IL on 6/17/05I usually love Neutrogena products, especially the makeup bases. The new Healthy Skin Enhancer is the best ever. It is sheer, with retinol, vitamins, and SPF 20. The scent of this product is so horrific, that I cannot believe it comes from the same company. It smells like you are putting Extra Strength Nair or Perm solution from a salon on your face. I tried it one time and threw the full tube into the trash with nausea from the scent and disgust from the money I wasted. I went to Demologica Solar Booster SPF 30.It is light and has the natural scent of fresh lavender. Pay a little more, and be fully satisfied with your sunscreen experience. |
