I liked the idea of being able to wear sunscreen without feeling greasy. Unfortunately, the sunscreen caused my daughter (who has a medium complexion) and me to break out in tiny red bumps that lasted about 2 weeks. The pharmacist in Orlando told us that frequently happens when a sunscreen reacts with the Tropical sun of Florida. I've never had this happen with any other sunscreen and wound up buying another product to use for the rest of our stay. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

During the next 7-14 days I noticed I was feeling a tightness on my face and a burning on my chin and jaw line. I never thought I would have a reaction to this product although I did. As soon as I stopped it my face felt sooo much better, and the red irritated skin is pale again. I would recommend to individuals with more oil in their skin; for dry sensitive, I would monitor if you decide to use it. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I have never burned with it on. I have extremely oily/acne-prone skin (used ProActiv and hated it because it didnt work for me - had to send that back). Not only is this a great sunblock, but it's also a wonderful everyday moisturizer. A little goes a long way. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This product actually ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 4/29/05This product actually does what it says. I have tried all the sunscreens that promise not to clog pores or cause skin breakouts. Many promise unobtrusive sunscreen unnoticeable under makeup. None delivered. They become greasy and shiny over a brief period of time and by the end of the day my skin has new breakouts.
HOWEVER, Neutrogena UltraSheer Dry-Touch Sunblock ACTUALLY IS 1) ultra sheer - I've put it on in the morning and then put it on a second time thinking I'd forgotten to put it on the first time, as it's so sheer and matte; 2) dry-touch: there is no greasy feel, oily sheen, or buildup of oil over the day with this product. It STAYS dry and matte, and is so light I really can't tell it's there. It works great under Chanel foundation too. Also, I sail and need a sunscreen that protects my skin from all that light reflected off the water. This has prevented any hyper pigmentation, which can be a problem.

I have really oily skin and I use this every day under my makeup, and not only does it have great sun protection, it's an excellent primer!!! I've used every expensive sunblock and they always ended up breaking me out, or leaving my face greasy in 2 hours, or my makeup didn't look right while they were on. I would pay any amount of money for this product, but luckily, it's really inexpensive. I just can't believe a product could have such a high SPF and be so convenient and usable. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

It is somewhat expensive, but worth it. It dries quickly and gives a "dry" feeling to the touch. No sticky-gross feeling like most sun blocks. It actually makes you willing to put on sunblock! The SPF 30 version is excellent too! (I only use it on the body, not the face, so I can't speak about whether or not it causes break outs.) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
