I have very fair skin, so sunscreen is a necessity. I have tried many products throughout the years, and have found that the dry-touch sunblock is my favorite. It never feels greasy like many other sunblocks I've tried. I've actually gotten a grudging approval of this product from my husband who is suspect of any type of lotion, skin saving or not (this is high praise coming from him). I have very fair skin and really need sunscreen but I have sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin that doesn't react well to sunscreens. I also sweat profusely in the sun, which can cause sunscreen to eventually run into and burn my eyes. I bought this product for a recent vacation and couldn't believe how well it worked. It really did protect me from the sun, seemingly better than other SPF45 sunscreens I've tried. Once I rubbed it in, it didn't make my face feel greasy. I could put make-up on over it. And my skin has not had any adverse reaction to it at all. And although I was in 95-degree weather every day and was, frankly, sweating like a pig, I did not have any problems with the sunscreen running into my eyes and stinging. I've never written a product review before, but I just had to let people know what a fantastic product this is!!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

But this stuff lived up to its title! Ultra Sheer, dry touch. We did the New York AIDS walk yesterday, six miles in the hot sun, and this product held up! I originally bought this sunscreen to use on just my face and I bought another cheaper sunscreen to use on my body. Big mistake! The other stuff gave me a horrible rash. I have very fair skin (which somehow tans easily, dang it!), and I'm a fanatic about skincare. But all those "oil-free" sunscreens still left my face feeling like an oil slick, especially since I sweat like a horse! When first applying this, it feels like any other: rather thick and greasy. But after being rubbed in, it feels smooth and totally natural, and I had no problem applying makeup over it. My husband is equally impressed, since he has extremely oily skin, and therefore hates wearing sunscreen. I've tried everything from the high-end sunscreens, such as the pasty Clinique oil-free sun block, to the ones found in drugstore. And I find this to be the best for my skin and budget. It doesn't feel thick and pasty; it feels like lotion, disappears into your skin, doesn't leave a white residue on your face, and it doesn't make me break out more than I normally do. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I've used various types ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 3/25/04I've used various types of sunscreens that claim to be oil-free, but this by far is the best sunscreen that I've put on my face ever! For example, I've used Coppertone oil-free sunscreen w/spf45, and it was a complete mess on my face! This Neutrogena product leaves NO type of heavy, sticky, oily residue, and it dries to a powder-like type of finish. It feels like I have nothing on my face! My skin is prone to breakouts, but I had no problems using this at all. I absolutely LOVE this product. The only thing I regret is that it doesn't come in a larger size, but the positive about that is that it isn't bulky and fits nicely into a small bag/purse. That just means that I'll have to buy more tubes of it, because I plan on using it on my body as well! Give this one a try; you'll definitely be pleased! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
 I thought this product ...by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 3/16/04I thought this product might be the answer to my need for a sunscreen that would not aggravate my acne prone skin. It was not. The product clogged my pores and caused me to break out. It also flaked off if I rubbed my skin in any way, and did not leave a smooth surface for applying any make-up. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
