I am on my second tube of this product. It works quickly to get rid of my occasional acne, without the excessive peeling and irritation I've had using other acne products that use salicylic acid alone. For me, I follow the directions, applying to the spot only 2-3 times daily, this works really fast to make that zit go away, and very rarely is there any acne scarring. I do think this might be too strong to use as a daily all over facial serum, unless your skin just isn't very sensitive. It does have a light sulfur smell, but not as strong/lingering as other sulfur acne products I've tried, and it has a fragrance that is lightly orangey (which I like).

I tried this product on my skin for only a few days and it literally burned the areas that had acne. They scabbed over and now I'm afraid I will have scars there forever. It didn't heal anything faster - it just irritated my skin terribly. I would not recommend buying this product at all.

Those with sensitive smellers beware!

I'm always open to trying products and product lines new to me that have garnered raves from fellow acne-prone friends... a spot treatment acne med is always something I'm on the lookout for... [...]Not so lucky is the distinct sulfur odor that at first seems subtle enough but within an hour was too much for me to stand... it took two thorough face washes to nix the residual scent. I think it's a way cool concept to incorporate natural ingredients like sulfur, and clearly this product works for a lot of people, but those sensitive to smells should be wary!

I found this product in the 60 day kit. It was the best product in the kit. Glad to see it is sold separately. I have sensitive dry skin but this worked great. Dries pimples quickly and leaves no marks.

There are some sulfur products out there that dry out skin less and work just as well as or better than this product, but this product still works, and it is reasonably priced for the size (last a while).

I purchased this item in the Murad Acne kit in a 60 day supply. It worked in reducing the inflammation and size of my pimples after just one day. I did use it in conjunction with the other Murad Acne items and I strongly recommend them all, it is the first thing that has ever cleared up my chronic acne without drying out my sensitive skin.

I have somewhat bad acne and I tried this out. First, it does have a sulfur/chemical smell but if you use it at night, the smell won't bother you as much. I wouldn't say this works ridiculously quick as the other reviews have stated where my pimple disappeared overnight but within two or three days, my pimples definitely got smaller. I have normal skin but more on the oily side and I would say the product works pretty well but not instantaneously. I would purchase this product again but if I found something more effective, I would stick with the other product.

I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY SON ALONG WITH THE BODY WASH AND THE FACIAL CLEANSER AND BOY DID THIS STUFF DO THE JOB!!! HE WAS ON PROACTIVE PRIOR TO THIS AND IT DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO HELP HIS ACNE----NOT ONE BIT!!! NEVER WILL WE RECOMMEND OR GO BACK TO PROACTIVE, PLUS I DID RETURN THE PROACTIVE BEFORE THE 30 DAYS WERE UP. BUT THIS HAS CLEARED UP HIS ACNE AND A LITTLE OF IT GOES A LONG WAY. Wow is all I can say. This is the only spot treatment that I see real results with. It shrinks my blemishes almost overnight and is soothing to my skin. I haven't had any problems with dryness or peeling. Thank you Murad!

Terrible product. It dries out the skin around the pimple so badly, that it makes it more noticeable, more irritated, and more difficult to cover with makeup. This product did NOT make my pimples go away faster. It did shrink them a bit, but they stuck around, dry and irritated longer than ever. Not worth the money.
