I have used progesterone cream for quite sometime. But recently after a move, this was the brand I found and I am officially switching. I use Femgest Progesterone every day. I'm 54 years old and 'entering' menopause. I find that it helps reduce the hot flashes. I was having anywhere from 12 to 16 a day and now just a few and not very hard ones. :) Great price and value. I have been TTC for a year now. I am hoping by taking OTC progesterone will be just the extra I need along with acupuncture to finally carry a baby to full term. Bought this along with Evening Primrose Oil supplement to help relieve "hot flashes." On the days when I would forget to apply it I would get hot flashes so I surmised that this was working but the Evening Primrose Oil supplement wasn't. I rub it in on the top of my feet & it does take some effort to rub it in completely but that's no reason not to buy it. I am very satisfied with this product and with the bogo offer it was worth it.

This product has significantly reduced my hot flashes! It took about 3 weeks, using once daily. Be patient, use it and it will work. I am so happy that I tried it. I have been using this cream for about a month and a half now and I can't believe the difference it has made in my life! I've been suffering from cystic acne since my late 20's and nothing was helping and I have had horrible PMS for ages. I have suffered from fibrocystic breasts that were always sore and then this summer my hair started falling out in clumps! I was worried so I started doing some research and all my symptoms seemed to point to a hormonal imbalance. I ordered this because of the price with the hope that it might help but not wanting to waste too much money. I noticed results immediately. I was a little more teary-eyed than usual for about three days but then I started feeling a sense of well being and my face started clearing up. No more breast tenderness and then when it was time for my cycle to begin...no PMS whatsoever! I felt totally calm and had no cramps. Amazing! My skin is soft and clear now. I feel better than ever. I wish I had known about this years ago.

I was lured by the low price of Femgest and foolishly chose to ignore the reviews that warned me that it isn't easily absorbed. It's not a bargain if my body can't absorb the progesterone it needs. Like others who reviewed this product, I found it to be "waxy" in texture--I wouldn't even call it a cream. I've been using progesterone cream for a number of years. The other brands I've used were slightly more expensive but were much more creamy in texture and, therefore, easier to apply and more easily absorbed. I will certainly go back to one of them. I will not buy Femgest progesterone cream again and I definitely would not recommend it to anyone else.

I've been using fem-gest since my cycle day 12- it is now cycle day 17. It has greatly reduced premenstrual headaches that I've been getting for the last 3 months. Only downside is that it's a bit waxy. I'm in my mid-thirties & PMS just became a rampant problem for me. I am also using a multi-vitamin, vitamin supplements (magnesium) to greatly reduce PMS, eating properly, drinking enough water, yoga- everything for the sake of better health! I recommend this product because it seems to be working in a short amount of time for me. I feel so much better! Ladies, you are not too young to consider that you might have a hormone imbalance- that's what PMS is! It's not normal to have so many awful symptoms each month.
