I like the smell; it's great. It is a very strong soap. It tends to burn my 'sensitive' parts. I don't think the smell lasts that long but it definitely makes you smell clean. I get back acne and think this stuff helped it a little...more than regular soap. Probably as effective as the salicylic acid washes they have for your body. Reduced the size but not the count of my lesions this past month of use. Interesting.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and wonderfully this worked on my fair skin... better than anything I've used including prescription ointments. Within an hour of using it, my blemishes were drying up and the redness of the blemishes clearing up. I use it briefly...just a little bit on the blemish areas and rinse it off within one minute since I have sensitive skin. Regarding the "melting" quality of the soap, as noted in an earlier rating, I keep mine in a shower rack, on its side, outside of the stream of water... it doesn't need much water to lather and I just use the edge of the bar. In this way I've used mine daily for a few weeks, and the bar still looks like new.

I love this soap and it is reasonably priced! The smell is wonderful to me. I use it to wash my face in the a.m. It suds very well in the hard Florida water. I wish there were more Auromere products available on this website.

For the price, this is a great soap. Feels great on the skin. Interesting fragrance....guess it's the sandalwood. But I like it. Not a girlie scent at all. I would buy again; the scent stays on your skin hours after your shower.

I am so grateful for having found this soap. I am an adult acne sufferer (cruel, since I had flawless skin until I turned 30) who has tried many acne products. What makes this product so great is the simplicity of it. You can achieve quick results; I saw a difference in a week, in one step. Since it is made with sandalwood, you also get the benefits of what many people of none western countries have known for years; it is one of the most effective essences to use for calming the mind. This made my face rough and oily. It is not an oil free cleanser, which is what dermatologists recommend for acne. It contributed to my blackheads and whiteheads and really irritated my skin. It is definitely not any better than any other acne remedies on the market, and I really think it made my skin much oilier and rougher. Plus, it smells TERRIBLE!!
