Aveeno Intense Hand Relief is a god-send. As soon as the cold weather hits here in NY State, my fingers immediately begin to split and bleed - not a good sitution for a musician! It DOES take a little while to absorb, but that's to be expected from a heavy-duty hand cream. With regular appication (and an extra good dollop at night) AIHR delivers soothing relief and prompt healing.

I had cronic chapped skin due the harsh winter weather here in New York, especially on my right hand after it had to be in a splint for over a months time. I went through several different lotions and creams, all claiming to either have oatmeal, no fragrance or help with irritation. Without fail, the backs of my hands would turn splotchy and red and whats worse burn to high heaven. From afair my hands looked normal but upon touching them, you could tell how chapped they truly work and rough. I was at my whits end two weeks ago standing in front of the lotion isle, searching for anything that would help, thinking it was time for a trip to the dermatologist. I tried Aveeno's Skin Relief Hand Cream as a last ditch effort and I was immediatly relieved, soothed and felt better after one application. The lotion manages to be light and sink in immediatly but hydrate like a thick cream. It was such a relief that within seconds my hands weren't on fire from harsh fragances, dyes or chemicals. My hands not only were were smooth and less painful, but the chapped skin is no longer. I experienced no irritation after application. I couldn't recommend this enough!

I like this hand cream because it quickly provides relief when my hands feel dry and tight, but it's unobtrusive-- it's odorless and it absorbs quickly without leaving an apparent residue. The price is very reasonable.

I am sort of a hand cream fanatic due to problems with dry skin on my hands and dry cuticles. I have tried many hand creams, ranging from $5 to $30. This is the one I swear by, and always come back to. It goes on smoothly and easily and soaks into the skin very quickly, leaving a nice smooth feeling that makes it ok to type on a keyboard or do whatever has to be done at work or at home. It also has great staying power and improves my skin as I use it every day. I HIGHLY recommend it. Also fragrance-free and no parabens. Amazing.
