I could hardly walk because of the discomfort. Doctors had no reasonable solutions except surgery! I tried many other items, but by cutting a toe bandage to just the size of my toe it fits comfortably in most shoes. It provides just enough resistance and enables me to walk, hike, and any other activity with comfort. I am glad to locate them here after my local drug store quit carrying them. Comments about Profoot Care Toe Bandages, Medium, 4" Lengths, 3 ea: These toe bandages are superior to all other bandages .I wear them every day and also during the night. Some times I do not slip them onto the toes but use different lengths that I cut, and place them between the toes , so that there is no skin-on-skin rubbing .Then use socks that hold toe bandages in place which is a secondary benefit. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Profoot Care Toe Bandages, Medium, 4" Lengths, 3 ea: My podiatrist showed me how to trim this toe bandage to help straighten my left second toe leaving a long tail under my foot. I change it at least weekly and expect to use it life long. It is preventing me from needing surgery to correct my condition. With it, I can walk, hike and even ski without problems! Comments about Profoot Care Toe Bandages, Medium, 4" Lengths, 3 ea: These are a real life saver (or should I say toe saver). I always have problems with irritation from the seam of my socks rubbing on top of my toes. I was using bandaids but they often slip off and can be a pain to apply. Not to mention they get expensive if you are reapplying them daily. These are great because you can cut them to the desired length and they just slip right onto your toe and they can be reused. My only complaint is that they are a little thick. I think they would be just as effective even with less padding. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (3 of 3 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
