HairArt Ceramic Straightening Iron Model H3000, 1-3/8Great Product!
by Busy Mom[Verified Reviewer] in El Paso on 1/4/09
Pros: Easy To Use, Effective
Describe Yourself: Minimalist
Best Uses: Frizziness/Flyaways, Straightening
Hair Type: Wavy Hair
Bottom Line: recommended
I have lots of very thick hair, which is usually time consuming to straight iron simply because there is so much of it. This iron gets hot enough to straighten quickly and gives an overall polished smooth look that lasts all day.

Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Gentle
Hair Type: Very Curly Hair
Bottom Line: recommended
I have very curly har and for years have tried to find a way to keep it manageable and easy to take care. I gave up straightening years ago because it was too time consuming and I hated that my hair always smelled as if it were scorched after. Now, with this new iron my hair is soft and silky in minutes. It only took me 15-20 minutes to straighten it this morning and run out the door. In the past it's taken 90 minutes to blow dry and touch up with a curiling or flat iron. This straightening iron has earned a permanent place on the sink and will get used a lot!!! I loved it so much I've already recommended it to all of my co-workers with curly or wavy hair. ITS THE BEST!!!
HairArt Ceramic Straightening Iron Model H3000, 1-3/8I will never go back to a cheap one
by Kannon's Mom[Verified Buyer] in Licking, Missouri on 11/25/08
Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Gentle, Good Value
Describe Yourself: Minimalist
Best Uses: Normal Hair, Wavy Hair
Hair Type: Wavy Hair
Bottom Line: recommended
I use the iron almost everyday and my hair looks and feels better than ever. My straightening time has been reduced, too. This iron makes it easy to flip under or out. As with any good iron, it does get VERY hot, so be careful. The only thing I wish it had was an automatic shut off because I forget to turn it off sometimes.

Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Gentle
Describe Yourself: Minimalist
Best Uses: Color-treated Hair, Dry/Damaged Hair, Frizziness/Flyaways, Normal Hair
Hair Type: Very Curly Hair
Bottom Line: recommended
I love this iron so much I'm tempted to buy another one in case this one ever breaks! I've had it for about a year and it still works great. I can even let my curly hair dry naturally, and as long as I have the heat cranked up enough it will straighten it beautifully. And even though I use pretty high heat, it hasn't damaged my hair at all. I would definately recommend it.
HairArt Ceramic Straightening Iron Model H3000, 1-3/8great product

Pros: Adjustable temps, Easy To Use, Effective, Heats up fast, Long cord
Cons: Not a perfect clamp
Best Uses: Daily Use
I used to have a flat iron that wasn't ceramic, it had bare metal plates, and a better grip, although now I wonder if that was a con.. I like how quickly this iron heats up and how long and flexible the cord is, for sure. It heats to very high temps, so I tend to nearly burn myself a lot when touching a section of hair for a second swipe. Very hot!! But my hair glides through the plates instead of sticking, although I would prefer that the plates closed better without using a death grip. It does what I need it to do, and very well. I think if I played with the temp control more, it would be near perfect. A+ for straightening, though! I think my last iron made better curls.

This iron takes a long time to fully heat up and it took over an hour to straighten hair. I thought this would have been comparable to the CHI but I was very mistaken. I will be returning it tomorrow and getting a new CHI after all.

I give this only four starts, as it doesn't clamp as tightly as my previous one, but my hair feels just as soft and smooth. There is no purple coating on the plates to soon be wearing off, so it should be better for one's hair.

Love this iron. I have very thick hair, and it is the only one that tames my hair, and with a good layered cut from my stylist, I have nice body and texture to my hair now. Highly recommended! I plan to buy the curling iron by HairArt also now because of this. I have had mine for almost 3 years and love it.

I'm a guy with short hair. And I use this to make a Mohawk!!! It helps my hair thin and really easy to set. By the way, this is my first time using the Iron and I want to say that this is the best and I have read many reviews and I love it. It makes my hair shy and everyone looks at me. I just did this in the morning and it keeps shy all day. So you should try this and 80 bucks is worth every penny.

I was looking to buy another flat iron, because my Hot Tools flat iron started giving me bushy, coarse hair after I use it. This Hair Art iron worked well. I have very long (down to my waist) and unruly hair, and this iron straightened without frying it. Afterwards, my hair was shinny and soft and I love it. I will recommend it to my friends.
