Recurrent yeast infections?

For years I was troubled with constant yeast and bladder infections, and was prescribed antibiotics followed by diflucan. This cycle repeated itself 6 to 7 times a year. I was in our local big box store to buy Monistsat and happened to notice the rePHresh box next to it. Luckily I was between yeast infections when I tried this. To say I got immediate relief would not be an understatement. There has been no more yeast, no burning, no itching, no hot uncomfortable feeling~ it's a miracle. And no more bladder irritation from the yeast. After 25 years of aggravation, something finally worked. I, too, am unhappy about the price, but have followed the directions because of my history. This is a miracle.

I had problems with odor no matter how much I bathed and how many visits I took to my GYN -- I decided to make my own regimen and started taking active cultures orally then started using this. I used it every 3 days for 2 weeks and started cleaning the outside with sliquid..now I only use it after my period or on thursday nights before my weekend with my sweetie ..LOL.. that way any discharge has gone away ... :) .. i never got chunks of anything .. i swear by their products .. if we can spend 20.00 or more on smell good lotions and perfumes for the outside ladies then we can surely invest in something good for the inside .. so yea the price could be cheaper but isnt the added odor free confidence worth it??

Great after a long bike ride. I don't think it is the best choice as a sexual aid (there are products specifically for that) but I use it whenever I detect an odor or am uncomfortable due to dryness. It is not as sticky and messy as Replens, feels more like your natural moisture. It is way too expensive, however.

I used 2 applications (about 6 months ago, at least a couple of weeks between both) and it worked fine for me then. It didn't make the smell go away completely, but it did help and I did not get white chunks. I used boric acid suppositories to clear up the possible BV completely. About a week ago I noticed the smell was starting to return and it was getting gradually worse as the days went by. So, a few days ago, I decided to try another application of the rephresh. It was fine at first. I didn't smell anything and I did get some chunks but didn't worry since I read it was normal with the rephresh. Well, the effects of that application should have worn off by now, which it appears that they have but I'm pretty sure the rephresh gave me a yeast infection. I have never had one before, but I did have some severe itching the other day (some monistat external vulvar cream has helped) and a thick white discharge which isn't chunky but coats my vulva and makes it itchy, sore and inflamed. I'm going to use the boric acid again since it helps clear up both BV and yeast infections. I highly recommend the boric acid suppositories...google it. You buy boric acid granules and some large empty gelatin capsules and make them yourself and insert into your vag. It's cheaper and will last a lot longer

It did help with irritation, itching and odor. However after using I noticed the gross chunks that alot of women have been talking about. It was embarrassing when I had sex with my boyfriend he had white chunks all over when we were done. I had to explain that it wasn't an infection. It's about 5 days and there are still chunks only a little bit now though so I'm waiting for this stop, so I can have sex with my boyfriend again. It did make me feel great took away odor but it's kinda gross if you have a sex life. I'm debating wether or not I should even use the second one (it came with 4) maybe it's good to shed all that stuff, but it does kinda interfere with my sex life. oh and it's very expensive.

I did not have the problem of the white "mealy" discharge. My main complaint is that there are only 4 applications per package and each package is pretty darned expensive. If you use this product per package directions, it would only last for 12 days.

Worked for BV when nothing else did!

I struggled with BV (Bacterial Vaginosis) for months, taking all kinds of antibiotics (some of which made me ill, like metronidazole, ugh) orally and in topical form. Doctors just kept prescribing medications and I finally had enough, nothing worked. Then I found Rephresh and gave it a try and it worked within one day. At first I used it every 4 days as recommended but now I only use it maybe once every couple of months when I feel it's needed. The BV hasn't returned. Yes, there is a white discharge which can be embarrassing if you have sex - in the leaflet it says it is simply sloughed-off cells which are natural but they collect in the gel making this weird discharge. It goes away after a couple days so if you don't need to use it all the time, it's not a big deal at all. And it's WAY less embarrassing than BV, esp. if you explain to your partner first. My husband barely notices, haha.

I was having unpleasant vaginal odor and i thought I would give this product a try. I used it a day before intercourse, and though it eliminated odor, it created a goopy white mess the next day. I would recommend this to someone with no sex life, because the white gunk is rather embarrassing. I loved the ease of the applicator. I had to give it only three stars for the disastrous mess it created.

I wish this product was back. Refresh is OK, but Acedic gel was the best. It was very light, like nothing was even there and it worked to maintain PH balance.
