Excited! first day.

Today is my first day, I went early this morning to buy this product. I bought the 1000mcg I couldn't find the 5000mcg. So I am just going to take it five times a day. I'm so excited because i've heard so many great comments about this product. I have a really bad hair cut and my hair takes forever to grow so I really hope this product works fast on my hair.

This is the only supplement that helps my finger nails. It takes a while to show results but my nails are now growing and are strong for the first time in many years.

i guess i'm the only one this didn't work for. i'm writing only for others who tried it and wonder if he/she is alone. i took this for about 3 months and i saw no change at all in my hair or nails. i did get a terrible ongoing outbreak of acne (not normal for me). it went away once i stopped with the biotin. i did research and found out that biotin can cause acne.

Doctor recommended this to help with thinning hair. I didn't expect any miracles since it does not target hair loss mechanisms. The results are inconclusive. Hair continues to thin, but I don't know what would have happened without the Biotin (no control study). Overall, my hair and nails seem healthy and there are been no side effects. It is also inexpensive as it is frequently on sale. Since there is little downside I continue to take it. I can't recommend or advise against taking this for thinning hair. There may be other good reasons to take it. I suggest consulting your doctor.

I noticed pretty soon after I started taking this that my hair grows even faster and my nails are in better shape. My nails are still soft and weak, but much better than normal. I'm going to try the 5000 mcg amount of Biotin now. I definitely recommend this to anyone having problems with hair growth and problem nails. I think it even helped my sparse eyebrows but maybe I'm imagining that....good product!

This is a superior brand of biotin. It's a part of the Puritan Pride family. I've taken three tablets daily for many years (5+) and my hair is always strong, fast-growing and glowing. I think this with essential fatty acids, silica and a multi-vitamin/mineral supplement has kept my hair and scalp in excellent condition. I highly recommend this product.
