I think he used it a few times, but long after the marriage ended, I am still using this flosser every day. Compared to this, flossing with string seems like an ordeal. You need to be very precise, and you can't feel your way around, so for best results you need to sit (steady, and with a small mirror and light) elsewhere, and then go back to the bathroom to rinse. Like I said: awkward. If they redesign it, I will try the new design... I wish it were very small, and could be held NEAR THE TIP, with two fingers, so it could be easily guided. A friend recommended this. I love it and don't intend to ever go back to manual flossing. It's easy and enjoyable to use. Simple to change the floss. My teeth feel really clean. It is very addicting to have the spaces between my teeth feel so clean. There is only one spot in my mouth where I can't get it to penetrate, and that is where my teeth are over-crowded. I like this better than string floss because I sometimes felt a cutting in my gums when using floss. This gives the same amount of cleaning without that slicing feeling. If this product ever gives out, I will definitely buy the exact same item to replace it.
