This machine is my new ...

This machine is my new best friend! It cleaned lipstick, coffee, eye shadow, grease and pet stains out of my carpet. I use "Spot Shot" to pretreat and everything came out beautifully! You just need to make sure and flush clean water through it before you put it away and I don't store the cleaning solution in the machine like the instuctions say. People have said that the sprayer will clog. I had another portable carpet cleaner (which was half the price) and it was horrible when I compare it to this one. I love the hose attachment because it allows me to get into tight spaces and do my stairs. So glad I purchased this one and it's a great value considering that it saved my carpet.

I used this a few times and it worked great. The problem came after a short period of storage. It appears that the cleaning solution hardens inside the heater and then it won't spray. I was able to bypass the heater so I could still use the unit. By the way, Bissell customer support was no help. They told me I had not properly flushed the unit before storage, but the manual has no information about "flushing".

Within the span of a few days after purchase I used it twice, and it did an adequate job. It was clunky, messy, and not really a joy to operate and clean afterward, but it took care of what needed cleaning. A few months later I took it out of the closet, and the steamer was dead. The vacuum pump worked fine, but no steam. I decided it wasn't even worth getting repaired/replaced by the manufacturer and threw the unit away.

I agree with the other posts. This is a very valuable tool for the house that is a home. There has not been a stain that we have made (including the kids) that I have not been able to get out. It is easy to do quick cleaning on the sofa or chairs and the small regular head gets into small places.

I'm extremely pleased with the performance of this little machine! I bought it because it was the only available wet vac at my PX and I needed one immediately to take out the water out of the carpet from the leak from our water heater. Well, it does a good job as a wet vac in a pinch -- it sucked out that water faster than I thought possible. The spot-cleaning feature is a bonus that I didn't expect, and although my model doesn't have the heat feature, it does as good a job, if not better, than my expensive Kirby model's shampooer feature. And it's so easy and simple to use. Putting my Kirby together to shampoo the carpet is a task in itself. With the Little Green, all the parts are already there, and it's compact enough to stow under the sink. All in all, this was a great buy.

I was surprised that this machine really works! My only desire is that there should be an even wider tool, but I guess that is what the large cleaners are for. This cleaner really cleans. I was surprised at the dirt it cleaned out (as seen by the dirty water tank) and the spots it lifted. The solutions work, the website is great with suggestions, and the product is well priced.

I have a little pup and an older dog (my hubby), and I cannot imagine what I would do without this fabulous machine. It extracts whatever soil, spills, or slips befall the carpet or area rugs. Every household should have this product. It is simply the best!

I borrowed a friends Little Green machine when we got our puppy. I absolutely love it. I decided to purchase one of my own, and I decided to get the 1425 model with heat and turbobrush. Again, I absolutely love it. The only complaint I have about it is that the turbobrush does not rotate fast enough; therefore, I prefer to use the regular brush that also comes with the machine. The machine is very easy to use, and it is small so that it is easy to clean anywhere. It sure beats the big steam cleaners.
