My children get severe spring allergies. They have the entire list of symptoms, congestion; watery, burning eyes; runny nose...all of it. This is the only product that works for them. We have been to many Allergy Doctors and have been prescribed many meds, not one of them worked as well as Claritin D. It also does not have the negative side effect of drowsiness.

It's a shame this was deregulated. I used to only have to pay a co-pay for it, but then the FDA decided I should pay more for something I NEED to make my allergies less miserable. This seems to be the ONLY product that works for me, too! It's terribly expensive now, but Drugstore.com has the best price.

I like the 12 hour formulation because 24 hr decongestants keep me awake all night. It seems to work best for me if not taken continually, but used when symptoms are most severe.
