Claritin D is the only thing I can take that actually works on my allergies. The downside is, I have to take it at night. Even though it says non-drowsy, it puts me out within 20 minutes of taking it. Good thing it works 24 hours!

The best I have tried is Sudafed, but my doctor does not like some ingredient in Sudafed and has me take Claritin. Claritin is very good, and it takes effect within 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

This is the only product that gives relief to multiple allergic reactions without excessive drowsiness. We move with our jobs and in different countries there are different plants and animals. This is the only allergy med that consistently provides relief.

I love the the fact it lasts 24 hours (although with my metabolism I get about 14 good effective hours out of it) but that works because when it is time for bed I can sleep, dont make the mistake of taking before bed, after 2-4 hours the Pseudoephedrine will kick in and bring you to a very light sleep and have you awake at every sound and tossing and turning.

I first time I used Claritin-D 24, it worked wonders for me. Worked fast and my allergies quickly disappeared. I recently had some fall allergy problems and decided to take Claritin-D, again, and it didnot stop the sneezing, running nose and eyes or help with decongesting. It also made me very nauseous and kept me up all night.

My doctor originally prescribed Claritin before it bacame an over the counter item. Once it became available OTC, my doctor told me to continue taking them. Taking 1 every morning really helps by letting me breathe easier. This is an excellent product. One complaint-I wish the box contained 30 tablets instead of 15, since I have to take 1 every day

I live in the woods and suffer from allergies almost all year long. This is the only product that really works including prescriptions. I used to get this as a prescription years ago but now it's over the counter and almost harder to get because of the stupid federal laws. When my allergies get bad in the spring and fall I use it in conjuntion with my prescriptions for flonase, patanol, and singulair (not with another antihistamine, of course). Otherwise, I'd been in bed with a sinus headache from hell, unable to breath.
