MyoPro® II 3-Stage Precision Release Protein Complex
Myoplex Deluxe Nutrition offers an exclusive, three-stage precision release protein complex.  This protein blend provides an optimal, calculated release of amino acids into the bloodstream to potentiate an anabolic state and support gains in lean muscle mass.

The total amino acid pool is directly related to protein synthesis and anabolism, so it is beneficial to keep amino acid levels high.  Fast-absorbing proteins cause a rapid spike in the amino acid pool.  Slow-release proteins are "anti-catabolic," as they help sustain the body's amino acid pool.  This means protein synthesis may be prolonged, thus supporting lean mass gains.

The carefully selected proteins in Myoplex Deluxe Nutrition support both anabolic and anti-catabolic activity.  Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Isolate may be the most anabolic protein, as it digests very quickly and supplies an immediate release of amino acids into the blood stream.  Whey Protein Isolate and Whey Protein Concentrate are absorbed just slightly slower, and collectively continue a rapid delivery of amino acids.  Micellar Casein has a slower digestion rate and yields a sustained release of amino acids into the bloodstream to inhibit protein breakdown and prolong protein synthesis. 

Whole Grain Carbohydrates
The whole grain carbohydrates used in Myoplex Deluxe Nutrition allow for a steady release of energy into the bloodstream (up to 2-3 hours) and help to maintain healthy blood sugar levels.*

Fiber
The whole grain carbohydrate sources in Myoplex Deluxe Nutrition deliver an excellent source of dietary fiber, 6 to 7 grams.  New research indicates that fiber may be a major player in bodybuilding nutrition, as greater fiber intake may speed fat loss and decrease hunger.*  Further, a high fiber diet may aid in fat loss by as much as three times compared to low-fat diets alone.*  For bodybuilders, this means that choosing higher fiber carbohydrate sources may be a good idea for most meals, including meal replacement shakes.  Currently, the FDA, ADA, and the National Research Council guidelines for fiber intake is 25-30g a day for most people.*  Most Americans take in only half this amount.*  Myoplex Deluxe Nutrition provides a convenient and delicious way to supplement your daily fiber intake.

Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs)
Myoplex Deluxe offers more than 10.5g of BCAAs, which are integral to muscle energy, function, and repair.*  BCAAs comprise roughly one-third of muscle tissue and are among the first sacrificed during resistance training and strength training.*  Research has shown that regular exercise and amino acid supplementation have an additive effect on muscle protein sythesis.*  BCAAs have a protein-sparing effect,* which is particularly important for hard-training athletes looking to maximize their muscle gains.  Further, BCAAs as part of a calorie restricted diet may also help the body preferentially utilize intra-abdominal fat - the fat that strains the cardiovascular system and contributes to waistline girth.*

Glutamine
Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in muscle tissue, and among other functions, is responsible for recovery and repair of muscle tissue.*  With a 12g glutamine complex including free glutamine, glutamine peptides, and the precursor glutamic acid, Myoplex Deluxe Nutrition ensures that the total body glutamine pool is "topped off" at times to support enhanced muscle growth and recovery.

CLA
Myoplex Deluxe Nutrition includes 1g of CLA, or conjugated linoleic acid.  Recent clinical research suggests that CLA supports fat loss and gains in lean muscle mass.*  CLA may also have antioxidant properties, which makes it beneficial to hard-training bodybuilders who may be susceptible to free radical induced muscle damage.
