Aveeno moisturizer was recommended by my dermatologist, and I chose the calming, lavender-based scent. My daughter also welcomes the excellent moisturizing effect for her very dry and sensitive skin The scent is subtle and does not interfere with my rose-based perfume, which is also a plus.

I hate the lavender/chamomile combo.

I really disliked the lavender/chamomile combo. It had a heavier dose of chamomile instead. I hated it so much I did not use it. The smell is a big turnoff.

I bought this product because of its "Stress Relief" name, and its advertised feature of "calms and relaxes with lavender, chamomile, and ylang-ylang". I tried it on after shower and before bed. I was almost shocked to find how strong the fragrance smells--it was like I put on perfume, although I only used a dime-size amount. The intense fragrance lasted for hours, and I found it hard to relax and feel calm with that smell. The fragrance was also hard to wash off. I use essential oils like lavender, chamomile, and ylang-ylang. The lotion does not smell a thing like it, it's way too artificial. Would not recommend for children, people with sensitive skin, or people looking for natural products. Definitely not recommended for people looking for a calming lotion.

All the Aveeno lotions work well, but I love this stuff because it smells great, which helps with the relaxing. I use it all over, every time after I shower. I never feel dry until I shower again. It's not sticky or greasy like other lotions. It may be a little heavy for some people, but that's what makes it moisturize so well. And it's not like a heavy cream; even on warm summer days I never feel like it's too heavy to put on. I love it!

I have two cats so always have scratches on my arms and shoulders. After using this lotion, the scabs heal much faster and don't scar as much. I also have folliculitis in the winter - the itching was driving me crazy! - and this is the only over the counter product I've used that worked in two or three days. I also put this lotion on my feet after a shower and then put on socks - it works better than coconut oil!

This is some of the best lotion I have ever used. It smells incredible and leaves my skin moisturized and silky smooth all day long. My fiancee and I both use this lotion and it's the only one we buy now because it really is relaxing.

I have rosacea and the first time I tried this product it burned a bit. But I tried it a few more times and I'm very happy with it. It definitely soothes the skin. In fact I recommended it to someone with psoriasis and I see he not only uses it but has bought the shaving lotion as well. The need more soaps!
