My husband's truck caught on fire in our driveway. After this disaster and the mess on my carpet from the firemen airing out my home. My husband brought home some horrible chemical to clean up the black gunk on the carpet. It smelled dangerous and I have two cats. I was afraid the cat would get this noxious solvent on their paws. After all this I proceeded to get a hot bucket of water to try and remove the solvent as best as I could, I thought the method would help to wash away this chemical. To my amazement, areas that my husband had not gotten to with the solvent, I tried the method cleaner on it and wow. I did not even have to scrub to remove the tar like gunk. My husband was amazed as well.
I will always have this product in my home, all the method items are great. Thank you for a wonderful product.

This product had an overpowering artificial scent. I was misled by the "grapefruit" description, thinking it would naturally derived (from essential citrus oil. Wrong: I couldn't stay in the same room where I'd sprayed this product. It irritated my skin, and I can't use the rest of the quantity that I purchased. I suppose it was my fault for not reading the ingredients list.
This brand seems to market itself as a natural, green product line. There are a lot of companies out there like this these days, and it takes a good amount of effort on the part of the consumer to cross-check their claims. After doing further research, I went with other legitimately green/eco-conscious products (Attitude, Aussan, Better life, Earth Friendly are a few to check out). We really don't have to be using chemicals to clean: it's not only harmful to the environment and to ourself, but from a practical standpoint, it's not even necessary.
This cleaner has been very effective on bathroom tile and glass, even when removing major gunk. (Note: when removing major gunk you may need to spray the dirty surface and then wait a bit to let the cleaner work. If it's really bad you might need a second application.) The pink grapefruit scent is pleasant and presents no breathing difficulties for me even in my windowless bathroom. I was kind of amused at the reviewer who believes the product smells like roses because she misunderstood the French part of the product label and thought "pamplemousse rose" meant "grapefruit and roses" when it actually means "pink grapefruit." As for concerns about how "green" this cleaner is, EWG does rate it as "green," even though they have some concerns and don't feel it deserves a grade higher than a "C." I'm very pleased with it and am ordering my second bottle today.

What really surprised me was how well it worked on my glass stove top for quick cleanups. Normally, I use Affresh for heavy cleaning, but many times I just want to get the surface grease and cooking splashes off without a lot of effort. I've used Windex and other glass cleaners for this, but I always had to follow with water to get rid of the streaks. It doesn't replace Affresh for heavy cleaning, but it's a good quick substitute.
I love this cleaner it has a fresh sent that's not overpowering or chemical, because it's a natural product. It cleans well and leaves no sticky residue. I would highly recomend this for general cleaning.
I just love the smell! i also enjoy that this product it multi-purpose. I can go from counters to wood table to floors to my oven without having to stop to change to another cleanser.
Psst: It is always a good idea to test in an inconspicuous place first.
