I have short "feathered" hair and this product when used after washing one's hair is simply ab fab - gives height, volume, and a bit of punk to my hair - the "Liza Minelli" look alike style, but suited to my lifestyle. Couldn't live without it, it's the best product out there for making my straight short hair a bit of pizzazz and life. Love it.

My hair tends to get dry because of living in the desert. This product actually conditions my hair while keeping it in place. It does not work like hair spray. It's better because it's very natural feeling and looking.

My hair is very fine, curly in some areas and straight in others. I like to do a straight, piecey look, and this wax is the only one that works for me. If a wax is even slightly wet, it makes my hair curl, defeating the whole purpose. This is the only wax I've found that isn't wet. It's like a big chapstick you rub on your head.

The other thing I love about it is, not only does it hold well, but if my hair gets messed up in the wind or whatever, this wax makes it totally re-moldable. As opposed to say, spray or gel that make your hair hard, but if it gets messed up, you can't fix it. This has good hold but if my hair gets out of place, I can just give it a pull here and a tug there, and voila, back the way I want it.

My sisters and I have been using this product for years. We have medium to VERY long hair. And we use this product in may ways, but mostly for smoothing out hairstyles, such as simple to fancy ponytails. It is great for the edges of the hair as well as the ends (sealing). It is also great for getting your bangs to blend in with the longer parts of your hair. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT JUST FOR SHORT HAIR.

Also, it is not too greasy and its smell is not bad but also virtually impossible to detect over any other scents you might have on. Use small amounts and brush it through your hair (yes, even the longer parts) for a really smooth, even, clean look.

I have been using this product for 10 years strong and will never stop using it as long as it exists. This is only workable for short hair.. I'd say up to at most 2 inches long max, and that's pushing it. Once my hair stops listening to me while on this product then I know it's time for a cut.. it's magic!! This will hold your hair in any style you want if you know how to use it!! It's complex and intricate. You have to experiment and learn how to roll it the right way, the right speed, and the right amount of pressure. Otherwise, it'll get too heavy on the hair and weigh it down making it unmanageable and greasy. If done correctly, nothing can match it. It'll make your style soft, pliable and texturized. Believe me I've tried!! I shower twice daily and a single stick can last me up to two months so the price is definitely worthwhile. I don't mind the scent it's nothing special but no one has ever commented on it.. and if I ever smelled it on someone else I'd know exactly what it was.. it's that unique. It's also hard to wash out for some reason so I've learned to use the right shampoos to get it out the first time (instead of two or three washes with certain shampoos). I know this sounds so tedious but if you can learn to master this product the rewards are remarkable. I rarely go a week without someone complimenting my hair. They all ask me what I use and I recommend the stick hands down. Like nothing else out there. Buy it!!!

Smells bad. Like old soup. Have to push the stick back in with your fingers to put the cap back on. And it is very greasy. Too bad most of their products smell nice and work good. You could get the same result with a stick of cocoa butter for half the cost. And it rolls up and down.

I love this product. It so easy to use on my super short hair. May not be the best for those with longer hair, though. The only thing I would change is the smell. It's a gingery smell and I would much prefer something like coconut.

I gave this product to a male friend who wears his hair short and spikey. It works great for his needs. My hair is very long ,course and heavy. This product did not give me the lift I had expected.
