Love this product! I use a full pump of Curls Rock with 4 pumps of Redken Smooth Down mixed together. Dry my hair with a diffuser and I'm good to go. No stiffness or flakes. Hair has body and curl. This has been a great product.

My hair is fine, but has some natural wave - cut an inch above the shoulders. This product works best for me. 1/2 a pump worked well through the hair. I MUST use a diffuser otherwise this product is useless. I don't desire super tight crunchy curls, so I always use a high pick after drying. I love the results. Nice full waves, full of volume & hair is soft not hard. It does take some practice. I would recommend washing your hair twice, though - this part I strongly dislike - or you could notice the "white" flecks, yuck! I actually wanted to rate this 3 1/2 stars, due to the practice & chances of those yucky white flecks.

I have thick long hair and perms very rarely hold for me. I wanted a new perm, and my stylist said it was too soon. She recommended the Curls Rock and Curl Booster and it's as if I have a fresh perm! The Curls Rock, along with the Curl Booster first (and of course the Catwalk Curl shampoo and conditioner) leave my hair with fantastic curls, great body and best of all, no frizz! I highly recommend the Catwalk line for curls! As far as "second day hair" goes, I just mist my hair with water (scrunch) and reapply the Booster and Curls Rock and it looks even better the second day!

I bought this on the recommendation of my hair stylist. I won't get it again. Using even a small amount on my fine, curly hair leaves it stiff, wet looking and crunchy. It softens after "scrunching" it, BUT then all these white flakes appear in my hair - gross! I've tried letting my hair dry naturally and using a diffuser with a dryer; same results. Too expensive for such poor results.

I love this product, along with the curl booster. The texture had me concerned at first (it's thick and gluey), but WOW did my hair look fantastic! I have lots of quite fine hair with a mix of curls: some spirals, some big curls, and a few waves. I've never had as many bouncy spirals and big curls as I have with this product. It's like I'm a new person! It blow dries well, but I found that it was less frizzy around the crown of my head when I air dried it. A little goes a long way, but if it gets crunchy a little hand-scrunching of the curls knocks the crunch right out, without any residue. It truly kills the frizz and makes my hair fantastic! I awarded 4 stars only because I'm still trying to figure out 2nd day hair using this product. After sleeping on it my hair is still quite curly and barely frizzy (first time EVER), but it's a bit stringy.

Thank goodness I bought this as part of a gift set -- it was horrible and a complete waste. I have naturally very wavy hair, and this did nothing but weigh it down. I wish it did have more crunch because then it might have actually done something for my hair!

This is a great product. I have very fine, very curly hair. The secret to using this, if you have fine hair, is to use a tiny amount - think half the size of a pea. The bottle recommends 2 pumps, but that is way too much. If your hair feels crunchy or gunky after using this product, try using half as much the next time.

I hate this product. Twice, I had my hair stylist show me how to use this product thinking that I was not applying it correctly. It looks fine and, if that is all that matters to you, then okay. However, I HATE the CRUNCH! Yuck. I have medium to tight curls and I like them to feel soft not crunchy.
