I use this as a toner, and it works great on my acne (what acne? I don't have any anymore!) BUT YOU HAVE TO DILUTE IT! I soak a cotton pad with water, then use just one drop of tea tree oil. That's how strong it is. Even that small amount stings (remember Sea Breeze? Feels like that), so please experiment to find the concentration that works for you. It does smell awful, but when you use so little of it, the smell disappears after a few minutes, especially if you use a scented moisturizer afterward. I was a loyal user of Proactiv, but now I have found a regimen that works even better, and it's less toxic and cheaper! My regimen: Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face Wash with Tea Tree Oil Desert Essence Organic Tea Tree Oil Desert Essence Jojoba Oil (use as moisturizer) Avalon Organics Daily Moisturizer, Therapeutic Lavender (use this after the jojoba oil, smells wonderful). And voila! Perfectly clear, soft, luminous skin!

The people having trouble with flaking and dryness on their face aren't diluting it enough. Use 1-2 drops on a cotton ball with water on top. It not got rid of my acne, and I no longer have to use a face wash at all. My husband has had to have surgery on his hand twice for warts that were plaguing him for years. I used this product and they went away permanently.

Yes, the smell is not great, but who cares when the results are so fantastic? My boyfriend even uses this. If a breakout is really bad, I have used it full strength, otherwise I do dilute it. If I use it at night, by morning my skin looks a thousand times better - this truly works and without the chemicals! It kills bacteria and clears up infections - I could not live without it.

I love this product. There is nothing better for gum irritation (especially after dental work like crowns). Just swab it on the part that hurts/is inflamed. I've used it on ingrown toenails and other skin irritations, and it cleared them up quickly. The smell is similar to a blend of camphor/eucalyptus. Strong but not unpleasant.

I used this for mild acne, and it made it worse. Also my skin got very dry and flaky where I did use it, and the acne seemed to spread and lasted longer. I would not recommend using this product.

I actually haven't used this exact brand, but tea tree oil is a great product. I'm 21, and I've had mild acne for most of my teenage and now adult life. I've tried many other products like Neutrogena and Clean & Clear which work well to clean oily skin, but I like this tea tree oil because it really treats the skin. I mainly apply this to the really "bad parts" and it actually helps reduce the size and redness. I don't recommend applying it everyday because it can dry out the skin, and it won't work as well as the first couple times.

Wow!!! I'm not sure if my skin is just getting adepted to Pro-Activ, but Tea Tree Oil works GREAT!!! I heard the acne pills work, but if you read everyone's review on it, they all clearly say that once you stop taking the product,...your skin breaks out WORSE. With Tea Tree Oil, I saw the difference overnight. :)

Many uses! I have used this on my skin as a toner, and it not only prevented more breakouts, but helped dry up some pimples that had been plaguing me for weeks in a matter of hours. It also works very well on cracked feet, and athlete's foot. The smell is not bad, in comparison to other products, but it is powerful. If you dilute the oil with an equal amount of water and dab on with a cotton swab or pad, it will work well and the smell will evaporate in a half hour or so. I wouldn't recommend putting the product on your facial skin undiluted. Also works well at treating razor burn/rash.

Great value for great product. Not only can a small dab be used for pimples (my teenage daughter thinks all teens should have this!) it's also a great antiseptic for the air. Only a few drops in the water basin of a diffuser and light the candle below. Especially good for when someone has a cold or sinus problems. After some reading, this oil is also supposed to help toe nail problems if applied twice a day until the nail grows out. Great, natural product.
