Does what it is for: Itch relief without drug. My husband and I both like it.

I was a bit skeptical because I haven't heard of this brand before but I found it works great for my sensitive skin. There is a strong smell of tea tree oil but it goes away fairly quickly. I use it for dermatitis, rashes, eczema, after shaving too closely, etc. I find that it stops itches just as effectively as (and more safely than) cortisone creams or even benadryl. I was happy to find a product that combines Tea Tree Oil and Vitamin E in lotion form, and one that doesn't irritate my skin. I've been avoiding cortisone ointments for several years now after discovering that these type of ointments thin the skin, which just doesn't sound like a good thing to me - unless, of course, one is suffering from severe allergies or other illness or is allergic to ingredients in natural products like this.

This is the best anti-itch lotion I have found. The anti-itch properties last a long time and the lotion is very soothing when applied. Some reviewers have commented on the smell but perhaps they are just not familiar with tea tree oil. I really like the natural freshness of it and the scent only lasts a few minutes whether you love it or hate it so don't let that stop you from purchasing this product. I will never be without this lotion!

This product did nothing for my itch problem, maybe even made it worse.

Used mostly for itchy dry skin, and for hives. It has a strong medicinal tea-tree smell just at first, but it dries down in no time to an actually very lovely light scent, barely noticeable really, but pleasant for you and for others if in close quarters. Most importantly, it calms and soothes, and in the case of dry skin, helps treat the cause of the itch! I also like the texture which goes on smoothly, is not runny and yet not too thick or greasy. The only thing, and it is minor, is the bottle isn't super easy to squeeze, so I store mine upside down, which solves the problem, and is easy to do since the lid is just as wide as the bottle.

I have some of the most severe winter itch and dry skin. I would scratch my skin raw without this stuff! Although it does smell a little like mothballs, and my husband avoids me for like 10 minutes until the smell goes away, it's FANTASTIC! I tried everything - prescriptions, OTC - everything. This is the only thing that relieves the itchiness right away and doesn't make my sensitive skin burn. It's a God send.

Aside from the "medicine smell' my whole family loves this product!

I love the feel of this lotion and the way it works, but my kids will not let me go near them with it -- whether I am wearing it or I want to rub it on them -- "Yucky medicine smell" is what I hear. Wish they could make this good of a lotion without the strong smell!

I can't believe the scent of this! Yuk! I can't use anything that is so strong and offensive.

I have winter dryness and tried several lotions. Decided to try this one because I love the Vitamin A Anti-wrinkle Dermae cream. The itch stopped almost instantly, it is not greasy and the smell, though not wonderful, smells like something wooden or leafy green. Wonderful product!
