Pros: Easy To Use, Evens Out Skin Tone, Improves Skin Texture, Minimizes Wrinkles, Noticeable Results, Smells Great, Soothing
Cons: It's a little thick
Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer
Best Uses: Deep Wrinkles, Dry/Chapped Skin, Fine Lines, Oily/Combination Skin, Sun Damage
Bottom Line: recommended
I purchased a very cheap sun block last year and I fried. The first thing I can say is never buy a cheap sun block. I went on the net to find something to help me get rid of my very dark sun damage. I just happened to take a peek in here; I read a few of the commets and I figured, it wouldn't hurt. It did more than I expected....it healed my skin and then, in a few weeks, I found my normal face again. I'm not saying this will work for everyone but, I'm very happy.

I use this product on my face and it's worked just fine. I've been in Iraq the whole time and when I came home everyone in my family noticed a difference. My mother and my cousin are going to give it a try too. I haven't tested it on my arms just yet but I hope it works.

This product really worked for me. I've had dark circles around my eyes every since I was little. I wear makeup so that my skin tone will appear more even and I don't look like a raccoon. I'd told my self when I first bought the product that I would not expect any results until 2 months. At the two month mark, I noticed a huge difference in my skin color, but realized I would need another jar to get to the color I wanted, so now I'm purchasing another jar so that the discoloration doesn't return. I completely disagree with other reviewers who say that the product is hard to apply. It really only takes a small amount of product per application.

My daughter had developed a bad rash on her legs that left a very noticable pigmentation, as a teenager she was very self conscious. After using this product we saw a huge improvement! It wasn't overnight, but we saw results after a few weeks, just stay consistent with applying it. I've had good results with other products from this brand, it was recommended to me by my esthetician.

I have two reasons for giving this product a low rating. First, the name of this product is ambiguous. 6%? Of what? Based on the label information, I have come to believe that it is a combination of ingredients that makes up the mysterious "6%, hydroquinone (the primary lightening agent) just being one of them, and in an undisclosed amount. That aside, I would still not recommend this product because it is so thick that it cannot be distributed around the face without thinning it with something. Even then it is difficult and leaves your face a heavy petrolatum slick for hours (think Eucerin consistency). I would search for these active ingredients in an easily absorbed serum or light cream. Plus, a sunblock of at least 30 SPF is supposed to be used with this, and all skin lighteners, but who can slather another layer of anything atop this product? Regardless of possible efficiency, I wish I had opted for something else.

I was introduced to this product several years ago by a physician in Atlanta and I continue to use it. It works the best out of all the products I've tried to fade brown spots/sun damage. Only skin resurfacing will eliminate the brown spots but this product does fade and is less invasive. No side effects like peeling or irritation...no side effects at all. A 2 oz jar lasts a long time. Works really well. I'm so glad to find it online.
