I absolutely love this dryer. My hair comes out so soft and shiny with no flyaways. Even those new pesty hairs that are growing out and are sometimes difficult to keep down do not frizz up on me. They stay in place. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it and it is long. I would definitely recommend this hair dryer. Really cuts down on drying time, too.

I loved this hair dryer. It really does make your hair shiner and seems to detangle as well. I especially like the design of the dryer because it fits in small places, which is good if you have limited space in your bathroom. It is small, flat, and lightweight, so I'm sure it travels well. I'm so glad I bought it.

I actually don't know how I survived before I got this. My hair is long, thick and wavy, and it used to take me hours to blow dry it straight (section by section) with a regular hairdryer. With the brush attachment on this styling dryer, my hair is straight and smooth in 15 minutes! I don't really believe the whole "ion" business, but the dryer itself is simply amazing. I never go anywhere without it.

I purchased this hair dryer based on its good reviews here but quite frankly, I wasn't expecting much. As it turns out, this is the best hairdryer I have ever owned. My hair is thick and tends to frizz up easily. I could hardly ever wear my hair down because it was so hard to get it smooth and straight. This is no longer a problem since I've been using the Conair Ion Shine Dryer. It dries my hair fast and I no longer have to worry about the frizzies. I love it!

I have one major problem with this product, which pretty much renders it useless and ineffective. The bristles simply aren't strong enough for my hair, which is thick and wavy, so it won't and can't pull my hair taught (even with small sections), which basically makes it like a regular hair drier. Otherwise, the attachments stay on sturdily, which is critical, and the heat and power are quite sufficient. I have no doubt this product would work very well for anyone with hair thinner than mine.

This dryer has a green light that indicates when the ions are being generated. The light is only on when you press the "cool shot" button. Therefore cool shot has to be held down (it doesn't stay down on its own) to get the effect of the ions. The dryer is also very noisy compared to the other Conair I own (also 1875 watts). However, I like that the dryer allows you to easily clean the filter, and I like the brush attachments.

This dryer is wonderful! I didn't expect it to be this effective on my fine blonde hair that has a miserable tendency toward frizzing up in high humidity. Sometimes I don't even need to finish straightening it with my flat iron. The ions really do make a difference -- buy this!

I bought this dryer because of the great reviews and I sure am glad I did! My hair is very thick and wavy and with my old dryer, it takes me at least 15 minutes to dry my hair. With this, it took me just a little over 5 minutes!! My hair is much, much shinier as well! I travel a lot, so it being dual voltage is a great plus!

Truth be told, I bought this hairdryer because it was small and light. I'm not a big fan of "quack" devices and I thought the whole ion thing was nothing but nonsense. I was wrong. I have very long, red, curly, frizzy, dried out hair and with the very first use of this dryer, my hair is straight, shiny, and for the first time in memory, I can actually use a comb.

Have been using this hair dryer for a few months now. There's no doubt that it makes my hair shinier and straighter. However, I'm noticing my hair started to thin ever since I started to use this product. I've lost quite a lot of hair and my scalp is really visible now. I would not recommend others use this product.
