The Myo-Tape of this duo is good, it's the fat caliper that needs a lot of improvement. Like other reviewers of stated, it is difficult to use and inconsistent. Specifically, it seems to time-out or go do a different mode when you're doing the measurements (thus, you're constantly re-measuring and getting different measurements each time). The instructions are of little value. For example, it instructs the user to hold the unit in the right hand (even though the drawing is the left hand) and to pinch the fat with the left hand, and to measure on the right side of the body. This is difficult, if not impossible, for the upper-body measurements, so your intuition has to take over here. The instructions are further lacking in that they don't provide you a way to trouble shoot and you're left on your own to use the "trial-and-error method" to get it to work. Although at one point in the instructions, it does advise the user to turn the unit on by pressing the on button if the unit has shut down. One would think that the makers should increase the time frame so that it doesn't shut off so quickly!That being said, if you enjoy the challenge of trying to get something to work, this may be okay for you. Otherwise, buy the Myo Tape and go with the manual fat calipers (after all, it doesn't hurt to exercise your brain by using math skills needed to use the manual calipers)[...], you definitely want to consider whether or not this product is right for you.

This is much more difficult to use than Sequoia Fitness Warrior and Defender calipers. FatTrack goes off prematurely and inconsistently when holding the pressure button. The other calipers have the sensors built into the jaws. Plus, my trainer told me that the jaws are not the required size for accurate measurements.

Very low reading for percentage body fat when used with someone overweight. Not reliable at all. Inconsistent readings.

Not worth the money; you never get the same reading twice, even if done right in a row. It really depends on how consistent you are with the pressure you apply to the caliper. The instructions are not very good either.
