Tasty alternative to lunch

I buy Balance Bars to help me with my weight. I started eating nutrition bars to help me lose weight as an alternative to lunch. I've recently been extremely ill and lost 65 lbs (without trying to lose) and am now considerably underweight. I purchased several boxes of Balance Bars to eat in addition to meals for additional protein. I eat these in the afternoon and in the afternoon for snacks. I particularly like this COOKIE DOUGH flavor, it tastes exactly like the real thing, and has a nice consistency. The chocolate outer coating has a great flavor and is silky smooth. I prefer Balance Bars over all other Protein Bars out on the market today. Balance Bars offer lots of flavors, there are only a few I dislike, but for the most part, they are all great! I'm sure I will continue to eat these after I have my weight under control in place of candy bars...these have vitamins and minerals and taste great..why eat garbage when you can fill your body with great ingredients?

The Balance Bars are the corner stones of my weight loss program. I can't easily rely on working out to lose weight due to a back injury so I need to watch what I eat. One bar in the morning, one bar in the afternoon (Balance flavors keep the taste buds happy) and a sensible dinner. I've lost over 50lbs. in the last 1 1/2 years this way and it is staying off. The good news is, as the weight is coming off, my back injury is less acute. I'm able to exercise more, leading me to more weight loss. Win win!

Happily, these weren't overly sweet, but they don't really taste like cookie dough. Actually, they don't taste like much of anything. The yogurt-peanut-honey bars are still my favorites. They fill me up and work as a meal replacement, but I wish they had more fiber.
