I ordered this for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. The heat was easy to activate for the first-time use. He loved the way it felt, and the massage oil that came with it was very nice. However, it is advertised as re-usable, but in order to use it more than once, you have to boil the massager to heat it up!!! I was under the impression when I bought this, that you could re-use it easily, by kneading the massager to heat it up...but this is not the case! We used it once, and I'm sure it will just collect dust now because boiling it to heat it up is a pain!

This looked like a fun cheap way to give my sweetie a heated massage. The heart-shaped gel pack heats up quickly and lasts a good 15 mins (longer than I can give a continuous deep massage anyway, as a weakling non-masseusse). 15 mins might not be long enough for some other folks. Easy to reuse, directions are straightforward. Edges of the heart are plastic and don't feel nice against the skin, wrapping the heart in a hand towel worked fine. Included guide is NOT anything special, doesn't really give you much in the way of practical tips about massage. Haven't tried the massage oil, we used some we already have and like.

So the person who wrote that this is a one time use product obviously did not read the instructions. To reuse this you just boil it in water for 5 - 10 minutes. I love this because it is like a hot water bottle but you don't have to stand at the sink waiting for hot water and then dump and refill the next time. You just pop the metal thing and you have heat for 30 minutes or so. My favorite use: I put it under my back bra strap (behind the hooks) and it stays in place.

A great product! Used it last night for the first time, and I have never felt my boyfriend's back muscle loosen up so much. It definitely added to the massage experience for him, and made his muscles easier to work with. I cant wait until I get to enjoy it on my back! I can't comment on the included oil, since I used one that we already own.

This is just like putting hot water in a bag im sure you'd get the same results... They mentioned massage oil, but they failed to highlight the important fact that the massage oil was sample size. The concept of hot massage however, is very good.

I teach women the method of a 'relaxed' massage from chronic fatigue is to warm the muscles 'before' you massage them, thus avoiding the pain that normally resides after a massage. Your muscles are like butter, so it spreads easier if it's warmed. If you buy TWO amazing hot massagers, this is a nice treat for men for after an 'all over body' massage. Use by cupping each massager over the shaft of a man's genitals. Using a few drops of oil or lotion to keep it slick, you may "Rub, twist, and massage" till your partner is 'satisfied'. Additionally, women enjoy the warm of heat as a 'sensual warming' sensation that can heighten a 'O'. This may also be used for cramps, surgery pains, for animals that have had surgery.

This is EXCELLENT! I don't get excited about new things very often, and it is even rarer for me to review an item. But I HAD to come on and rave about this heat pack. The crystals form and heat up VERY rapidly, and once the heat is gone and the pack has stiffened up, just put it in boiling water until ALL the crystals have dissolved. If a few of the crystals aren't quite dissolved when you take it out to cool, that's enough to get the rest of the solution to re-crystalize. Provided ALL the crystals are dissolved, once it has cooled, it is as good as new -- same state as when first removed from packaging. This is good not only for massages, but for aches and pains also. I get neck/shoulder stiffness due to an automobile accident, and this is very handy for when it acts up. I highly recommend this heat pack!

Great product for massage on a cool night -- my wife and I both love it! Contrary to a previous review, this product is reusable by reheating pack in a pot of boiling water and letting cool. Highly recommended but make sure you buy some extra oil (our favorite: Wet Aromatherapy Massage Oil, Romance) because you'll use this over and over!
