I have very sensitive skin and many soaps and lotions irritate it - not Ivory!

In my quest for an awesome body wash, I stumbled upon this. I'm allergic to Ivory bar soap so I'm not sure what prompted me to buy the body wash, but I'm glad I did. It smells awesome - really clean and it delivers what it promises. It's a simple body wash that gets you clean. No fancy claims or promises. Great product for the price and you only need a little - which means it'll last a long time!

Once in a while I splurge on shower gels and body washes, then I switch back to basics just to mix it up. I wasn't dissapointed when I bought Ivory. I was looking for something cheap that would last a long time. This is truly a buck saver. Does it's job without breaking the bank. The smell is very mild. Even a guy could use it.

It's hard to find things that don't have a strong fragrance and lather up well. This was it for me!

Great product

I wanted to like this body wash, but I just don't. It is very drying to my skin, and when I'm rinsing off in the shower I still feel all slippery like the soap never rinses off, and then afterwards when I'm dry I'm left with almost a dry, itchy residue on my skin. There are several body washes that have worked far better for me than this one.

This has a light almond scent which is not at all overpowering. Just as the name describes, it is not a fancy body wash, but does the job without drying your skin.

I've been an Ivory user for as long as I can remember because I have very sensitive skin. I would use various scented cream cleansers to shave my legs every so often, but never to wash my entire body. Once I found Ivory in a shower liquid, I was overjoyed. I could finally use the mesh sponge (tho you don't have to) and the Ivory. It lathers like crazy. It has a barely there scent - just like Ivory always has. It moisturizes my skin with each use yet leaves no residue. Happy to have fallen upon this product!

In hearing that a friend recommends Ivory body wash for head to toe use, I tried it, and I find it has the best balance for cleaning from head to toe and doesn't over dry or over moisturize. I like Dove also, but it does over moisturize parts of me. Ivory is great for travel, since I don't have to worry about another travel bottle of shampoo. I've also noticed that it seems to have a water softening quality and I use it to clean my shower mirror and my shower tub for an in between major scrubbing cleaning. Seems to wash away some of the minerals that other soaps and shower gels will leave behind. I've also diluted it to make an insecticidal soap against the aphids, ants, and small flies.
