Loved the old version and love the "new and improved." These are great diapers. We used cloth at home, but my son's daycare provides disposable diapers (Pampers, I believe) and he develped a terrible rash. We bought these for the school to use, and he's been rash-free ever since.

These are great diapers for a few reasons -- I don't seem to have any troubles with leaking. Sure when my son has a "blow out, they might leak but I would think that almost any diaper is going to leak a little bit given the quantity that is coming out. He wears them through the night and they never leak then. While some people seem to dislike the brown color, I have grown accustomed to it. Now that I have run out and need to reorder, the white Pampers with cartoons and that perfumey stench are assaulting me. I can't stand looking at such wastefulness with dyes, perfumes and needless chlorine usage. My son also never had diaper rash until his daycare provider started using Pampers, so perhaps there is a correlation. I definitely recommend spending the extra 4 cents a diaper to buy Seventh Generation diapers.

Of all the diapers I have tried, these are the best. No gel residue and usually, no rash. Had to use Huggies for a while, and a terrible rash appeared. Don't notice very much difference between these and the old kind; nothing was wrong with the old kind.

I love these diapers (the "old" style) and have been using them for about 2 1/2 years, but I'm not so sure about the "new and improved fit, so I'm only giving three stars. The sizing changed from small, medium and large to a numbering system and the numbering system seems to run small. The diapers are thinner and I have had several leaks which I never had with the "old" diapers. The stretchy new closure tabs are nice, but why did they have to go and change a good thing?

I just bought a case of the Stage 4 "new and improved fit" diapers after 13 blissful months using the original fit version. I wish I had saved my receipt! My daughter immediately began getting diaper rashes and leaking at night, soaking her pajamas and the bed sheets. They are slimmer, but they hold less liquid. We loved the old ones, no complaints, but these are TERRIBLE! The side elastics are too wide now, meaning extra wiggling time on the changing table keeping them away from her skin and stuck on properly. Even the package's opening is less convenient than before. Sadly, I won't buy these again.

These are great for so many reasons: they are environmentally sound (did you know it takes 500 years for a typical plastic disposable to photodegrage? Yuck!); they work beautifully, at least as well as the major brands; they are character-free. We use cloth mostly, but my husband seems addicted to disposables, so we've compromised by keeping the Seventh Generation diapers on hand for him to use. Unlike their wipes, which were very thin, dry and a disappointment overall, the diapers are awesome. And I'm amazed that my 6-month old and 2.5 year old can both wear the same size diaper; the size 4 fits them both just great!

These diapers are great; they rarely leak, and are better for the environment because they are chlorine free. The brown color of the diaper may get some turned heads and questions, but it's better for your baby's skin too. They are more expensive, but are worth the extra cost.

I tried these for the first time and love them. We've used almost 100 so far, and the only leaks were a couple of times when I changed the diaper half asleep and didn't get it on straight! A FAR better track record than the Huggies we were using. Also, no silicone beads, no stinky fragrance, and no corporate idea of "cute" decorations. And no dioxin residue next to baby's skin. We try to use cloth diapers most of the time, but these are a great alternative.

My son has been extremely prone to the bleeding type diaper rash since he was around 4 months old. So, we switched to cloth diapers to clear it up and that worked! I had a feeling he was having bad reactions to the chlorine in regular disposable diapers and that was the reason for his rashes. When I went back to work we had no choice but to put him in disposable diapers again, and the bleeding hiney started again. I found these diapers at Earth Fare and fell in love with them. They absorb better for us than Huggies and NO MORE RASHES!!! These are amazing...so what if they're not white; they're healthier against a baby's bottom.

I've had a great experience with these diapers! They're very absorbent. My son has eczema and used to scratch like crazy during diapers changes with the name brand diapers -- that doesn't happen anymore with these!
