Have natural curly hair. Had browlift and this product was gentle and great to use along with their shampoo. Does not sting and immediately softens and conditions. GREAT STUFF!

I had used the Original Natures Gate Herbal Conditioner for 25 years. I have extremely dry hair and I used it every other day. I loved it and was complimented on how healthy my hair looked. It became more difficult to find and then I found Natures Gate "Daily" Herbal conditioner. It looks similar and smells similar but it is not AS moisturizing as the older product. I would love the older product for me. The Daily conditioner is great for my 3 daughters hair. If possible, BRING back the other product .....PLEASE.

This product worked ok. The smell wasn't really bad, just really strong and did not go away when the hair was dry.

The smell of this stuff takes me back to college!. Even though the bottle has changed, it's nearly the same. Sometimes, it seems like it smells different, but that could just be a memory distortion. Also, the old bottle was semi transparent and the shampoo was green. I don't think this shampoo is green. It's clear. Now that my hair is older and drier, this shampoo is too drying as a daily shampoo. It will replace my Neutrogena clarifying shampoo. Happy to have it back in my shower. The smell lasts forever in my hair and I love it.

Not as great as the shampoo. But it's very nice. Has the same fresh smell. I need to use more conditioner and it feels a bit thin. I do like it, but it's not my holy grail, go-to product like the shampoo is.

I was really hoping this product would work and maybe it would have if I had allowed it to make my hair fall out long enough to see results for my scalp. The smell was awful, and I am not sensitive to smells and I have never stopped using a product because it smells bad before now. The worst part: my hair was breaking and falling out after one use. By the second use, it was so much hair it was clogging the drain n with a huge clump! That was the last time I used it, obviously!
