I tend to take a lot of supplements. When my doctor reviewed them, he kept this one in the mix, but tossed others out. I take it as a general anti-oxidant. I believe I do feel better when taking it.
I have CFS and have read and heard about the benefits of CoQ-10 for years. I didn't want one more pill. I finally was desperate enough to get even a bit more energy I gave it a try.
It really has helped. I have a bit more energy and the pain in my hands from arthritis is almost gone. I will continue to take this product. I recommend it to anyone who has CFS.
Read up on Co-Q10. It's is the pill of youth. I am 42 years old & have been taking this for over 3 years. Most people think that I am about 33 or 35 years. I swear by this pill & dose.
Product costs too much! In relation to other supplements CO-Q-10 is not a good buy. I take this as a combination of supplements to avert taking statin drugs for high cholesterol. With my insurance copay however, Lipitor is cheaper than a months supply of Red Yeast Rice, Non-flushing Niacin and Co-Q-10, and it's the Co-Q-10 that's breaking the budget. For those of us that want to avoid Lipitor because of the sideaffects, couldn't you package the three supplements that I just mentioned in a way that they would at least cost no more than the copay on Lipitor? My Lipitor copay is $30/month.

I read about CO-Q10 being good for headaches. I take one tablet of 200mg or higher each day and I don't get headaches as often, and when I do get one all I have to do is take 2 pain relievers (Tylenol, Advil, etc.) and it goes away. Before CO-Q10, I lived with migraine type headaches every day and would end up taking 9-12 pain relievers each day before finally getting relief. CO-Q10 is now a part of my daily vitamin regimen.
