Really Waterproof! by DogWoman in SF Bay Area on 8/11/09Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Promotes Healing, Safe Describe Yourself: CPR Trained Primary use: Personal Bottom Line: recommended My boyfriend burned the top of his foot, on the arch, and while the wound healed he needed to keep it dry and protected. This did the trick just fine -- really waterproof, so he could shower, and provided excellent protection while wearing socks and shoes. This RamaJumbo size was perfect, in the beginning, and then as the healing continued, with the wound area getting smaller, he could go down in size, using the smaller NexCare bandages. The clear bandage is easy to apply, and thin enough so as not to rub against socks and doesn't come unrolled. Also, the clear part makes the bandage almost unnoticeable. We love this brand!

Nexcare First Aid bandaids are wonderful by Mary Anne in Rancho Murieta CA on 10/25/08Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Safe Describe Yourself: Novice First Aid Skills Best Uses: Long Term Use Primary use: Personal Bottom Line: recommended My husband wears a pain patch on his back, and it the only band aid that keeps the patch on.
Transdermal Medication Patch Aid by Tom in Las Vegas on 10/5/08Pros: Covers transdermal medica, Easy To Use, Effective Describe Yourself: CPR Trained, Novice First Aid Skills Best Uses: Long Term Use Primary use: Personal Bottom Line: recommended I am currently using a "Duragesic" Transdermel Medication patch. I tend to have oily skin and have a problem with patch adhesion over the three day period between new patches. I also exercise in a swimming pool on most days. While expensive, I've found that this size "Nexcare" bandage is the best solution that I have found in keeping the patch in place and waterproof for three days. I have tried many other waterproof bandages and either they would not adhere for three days or a correct size to cover the medication patch was not available. If you are using a transdermal patch, you are aware of their high cost. This "Nexcare" product prevents having a failed patch, which makes them a cost effective product for this use.
Fantastic Product by alfie in windy city on 9/7/08Pros: Does the Job, Easy To Use, Effective Describe Yourself: Novice First Aid Skills Primary use: Personal Bottom Line: recommended I use to cover a three-day patch and keep it dry in the shower. It lasts the entire 72 hours, is easy to apply, and does the job as expected. It is the only large-sized band-aid I have found that works. Nothing else lasts. These are worth the price.
