I have curly frizzy hair so I thought this would be for me. It's not. I also have thinning hair. This stuff just weighs it down and makes it look stringy. So if you have thick, full hair, it probably will work great for you. But if you have thin or thinning hair, this isn't your friend.

To get ringlets: I use Loreal tousle creme in my damp hair. I apply polisher to lock in shine and moisture. Then I apply this spray. I twist my high ponytail around a headband in 1/2 in sections at the crown of my head. It's like the beach wave video but up in a bun so your head doesn't hurt when you sleep. I pin it with large bobbypins. I spray the bun with the curl spray. I sleep with my hair like this, letting it dry. When I take it out in the morning, I brush my hair once with a paddle brush. I reshape the curls into ringlets.

Some people use polisher on their hair at this point but I skip it because my hair is super straight. Try it. It works. Thanks to all the pervious comments about the spray working on straight hair! The ringlets last all day. I even dampen the hair the next night and wear it curly a second day. The curl is tighter the next day.

Encourages curl, discourages frizz. I love this! My hair is bouncy and full, not weighed down, and with more waves and curls. I use it before blow drying, and also on dry hair between shampoos to freshen curls.

This product works great on natural and perm curls. It's great for defrizzing. The downfall is when you're spraying it on your hair and gets on your hands, it's a bit sticky (nothing that can't be solved). I think this product is one of the better curl definers out there!

This holds curls very well. I saw it being used in a John Freida Beach Waves video and thought I'd try it. It adds body, but it does take away shine. I have stick straight fine hair (but a LOT of it) and this works better than hair spray for me.

I use when my hair is wet (freshly washed) to protect against heat and encourage natural curl. I also use between shampoos to refresh and enhance curls. Lightweight formula leaves my hair soft, never heavy or greasy.

First I have to state that I relax my hair which is a process that seeks to chemically eliminate natural curls from the hair. That being said, I still like to encourage my curls to come out of the submission into which they are forced by the relaxer and my In-Styler. This is where Dream Curls comes in: not only does it help define reluctant curls, but it also tames unruly ones. I was also able to extend my need for a touch up and even contemplated not relaxing again since this (with the help of Fructis) made the new growth curls soften up. My curls are shiny, soft and bouncy now. I'm ready for summer!!!

I have frizzy, wavy hair and thought this would help define my waves more. It really didn't do much...my hair was left a bit softer and some flyaways were tamed, but my waves were still limp.
I do find this stuff useful for smoothing down ponytails or other updos. After styling I spray some in my hands and smooth my hair with it. Works nicely for stray hairs.
