I'm also a pilot of small planes and wish I knew about these on my trip to Florida a couple of years ago. I used bottles then and these are so much more convenient and not messy at all.

One thing I really like, especially as opposed to a bottle, is that they are flexible and so you can hold them in a different direction than straight down - especially useful if you are sitting or lying.

I bought this product hoping to end the long trips to the bathroom in a cold, dark house. Alas, I've learned I must ready two or three units every night. If I try a second use of the same bag at night I'll be up for an hour mopping the floor and washing the bedroom rug. Perhaps the bags don't work as well when they're cold?
I would suggest a little bit larger/longer rim for women's comfort, too. Still, if I had the money to buy this product for one use only I certainly would. Unfortunately, being an old lady on a fixed income I can't justify reordering when my current supply is used up.

These are great for camping. Being a prostate cancer survivor I can't sleep thru the nite without having to get up once or twice to pee. On a recent camping trip the camp toilet was a considerable distance from our tent. Instead of getting up, getting dressed, walking to and from the toilet, and getting undressed only to do it all again a few hours later, I just sat on the edge of the bed, used the Travel john, and went back to sleep. Liquid jells instantly so they don't spill and they don't leak. They don't even stink. I keep a couple in the car in case nature calls between rest stops.

My wife and I are Over The Road team truck drivers. In this great country of ours, there are stretches of road where you can go for hours without seeing a truck stop or rest area. Also, there are times we are stuck waiting for a load at a customer who is either closed or have no access to a restroom. My wife found a 3 pack of these in a truck stop one day and tried them. She absolutely loves them. We now carry, an 18 count box on the truck at all times. A must for anyone who does extensive traveling.

This product is wonderful. My husband is a stroke survivor in a wheelchair. If we want to go to a restaurant, etc. these are much easier to use in the restroom. He urinates in the TJ, the urine turns to gel (will NOT spill out and absolutely no odor). We can throw the TJ away in any proper trash can.
