Lately my skin has been acting up, so I decided to try the facial bar soap ( I use the fragrance free version) on recommendation from a friend. I am really impressed by how much it has improved the texture and condition of my skin. There are no harsh ingredients (at least not in the fragrance free bar), so it does not dry out or irritate my skin. A little bit produces just enough lather to thoroughly clean my skin. It does not strip my face of essential moisture or add any residue...it simply rinses clean and leaves my skin feeling healthy and soft. It is a very basic cleanser--- and basic is just what most of us need to have healthy skin. Like others have mentioned, the only downside is that the bar doesn't last too long, but for the price it hardly matters. I will not go back to using harsh, ineffective facial products that do more harm than good. This is dermatologist recommended for a reason. VS Most Liked Negative Review Not sure ... We received sample bars in Home Economics class in the 7th grade. This wonderful soap has remained the same high quality product all these years. I still love the fragrance, although I understand that many other people love the fragrance-free I do not (I think it still smells, but not pleasing to my nose). It is mild, suds quickly, and rinses completely. I use all over and never feel a film remaining after rinsing. The 3 bar packs are a great bargain.

I use it primarily as a daily facial soap and I highly recommend this product. Don't store it in a wet soap dish or it will dissolve away. Keep it dry after each use and it will last a long time.

It smells refreshening but not floral, so good for men and women. It make great suds, enough to easily shave your legs with. I like the fact that they keep the same formula and don't add ingredients that are just unnecessary. One suggestion to get the longest use, is to make sure your bar sits on a dry soap tray. Any standing water will melt the bar since it is pure soap.

Because it is a clear glycerin soap, it always makes my face feel refreshed. I LOVE the scent. If you don't like the scent, there is always the option to buy unscented. either way this brand is the best of all soaps. It has been used since the 60's. Too many people don't take into account that their diet, meds, habits, age and other factors come into play for overly sensitive skin types. I have never had a problem with this brand or product and will continue using it. I would like them to make a perfume of this fragrance, I LOVE IT! Thanks Neutrogena and Drugstore.com.

After trying numerous bar soaps, this is the one that he can use without his skin conditions flaring. He uses it in the shower as a body bar daily and it does not irritate his skin at all. It is very easy on skin, yet still cleans and rinses off well.
