How I use this product: I get my hair wet, apply it using my fingers as a comb and the pads of my fingers to clean, then I rinse. Things that are [nice] about it: the shampoo is somewhat better than using body wash in my hair, but not by much. Things that aren't so great about it: This shampoo (Dove Daily Moisture Therapy) smells vaguely like a truckstop, or at the very least a cheap body wash smell. I don't like the way it smells! Then there's the cleaning power, this is not moisturizing but it's shampoo so I wouldn't expect it to be, except I also don't expect it to drown the style of my hair in boring and make it super dry. Dove really missed the mark for this formula! Don't get me wrong I am a huge fan of Dove, and the matching conditioner is excellent, so is the 2-in-1.

Incredible! I have superthick, frizzy, wavy hair and this shampoo makes my hair soooo easy to brush. It's not tangled at all!! I normally use it alone and it saves me so much time normally spent trying to drag a brush through tangled, just-washed hair. Thanks Dove!!

If you wash your hair everyday like I do, this is your best bet for shampoo. Don't use the 2 in 1, because they tend to be more on the drying side. I use separate conditioner and I love how my hair and scalp feel. It softens my color treated hair while smelling great!

I gave it 4 stars because the fragrance is a bit too strong for me. However, it does leave my hair feeling soft and shiny. Pantene Pro-V also works similarly, and I think it doesn't have as strong a fragrance as this one. It's a good product and it does leave my hair feeling moisturized and non-greasy. But because of the strong fragrance, I'm going to try using an organic shampoo.

Best shampoo ever! I ALWAYS come back to this shampoo. It smells amazing and it makes your hair incredibly soft, moisturized and clean all at once! Definitely recommend this for people with over processed hair who want moisture without weighing it down.

If there was a zero option, I would use it. Dove claims to be so pure...I beg to differ with that. I used this and the sides of my face along my jaw line and my chin were irritated and red and dry. I thought it was another product so I stopped them and the irritation continued...it was this!! Shocked? Me too, there are too many ingredients and way too many with CHLORIDE in them, for me a significant skin irritant -- and it dried out my hair. Not for me.

I have coarse, damaged, frizzy hair, and have had excellent results with this product. Far better than with products designed for frizzy hair.

I was surprised this hadn't been reviewed yet because it's actually really popular. I have been using it for about 2 years now, and it's really great. I love the smell, and it leaves my hair really soft. I use it with the coordinating conditioner, and I think it's the best moisturizing daily shampoo for such a low price.
