It works great for my bleeding nose. I have HHT and this stops the bleeding immediately.Again, the packaging isn't user friendly. The product should be in a container, which prevents spillage, and the unused product can be stored effectively. Also, the applicator can be washed, but the bool stain remains,I'm forced to use Q tips for future needs. It's expensive, the applicators leave much to be desired,

Bottom Line: recommended

Being on an anticoagulent, even relatively minor cuts bleed profusely. When 20' of pressure doesn't work, this does. I apply Urgent QR & apply pressure with a small dressing. It forms a crust that washes of the next day. There is stinging when put on, but worth it. This product is only for minor injuries.

When I gashed my big toe on a tin can lid I was sure that I would have to go to the ER. I hobbled to the bathroom medicine chest and found this product which I had purchased months before for emergencies since I'm a bit of a klutz. I washed and dried the bleeding wound as best I could and put this product on it. It sealed up the 1 inch gapping wound within seconds. It still hurt like heck but it wasn't bleeding anymore. After about 5 minutes the wound got numb (an extra benefit). The next day, I thought it would be a good idea to go to the doctor. She looked at it and said that I did a good job (Emergency QR did). She gave me a mild antibiotic since it was the wound was starting to look a little inflammed but that was it. I would recommend though, that if you get a bad cut that you see the doctor unless you know that your tetanus shots are up-to-date.

My friend had this URGENT QR at her house, my son fell and split open his elbow, she put this on it and it stopped the bleeding right away, it definitely saved us a trip to the ER, I highly recommend this!

OMG - this stuff is simply amazing. I recommend that EVERYONE keep this at home and in your cars. It saved me a trip to the ER after a bottled fell and broke over my foot, slicing a big artery. Blood was gushing everywhere, even through applying pressure with a washcloth. Thank god - I remembered seeing this in the house. It stopped the intense bleeding within a minute or less. PLEASE BUY THIS for your safety - you never know when you may need it!

Saved me a trip to the ER for stitches after I sliced my hand open on a tin can in the trash bin two days ago. After bleeding all over the counter and floor I finally poured some of this on the wound and applied pressure for 30 seconds, and the bleeding stopped. Best part, since then I've washed my hands at least 20 times and showered too, and the scab is still on there protecting the cut.

This stuff is great. We were cutting the dogs nails when he jerked (hates having his feet touched) and the nail was cut too short. Blood was spurting out everywhere. We thought we got it controlled with the little kit for the dogs, but he took 1 step and it started up again. I found this sample and within a minute the flow was permanently staunched. Got nasty cut with my field knife while camping; deep, needed stiches but was 8 miles on foot from my car. It took two doses of the Urgent QR but it stopped the bleeding, added a couple butterfly closures and I was good the rest of the weekend till I got home to see my doctor.

Oh my lord! Finally something that stopped my bleeding. I suffer from a severe bleeding disorder and bleed quite easily when I am cut. This Urgent QR stopped my bleeding within 1 minute, whereas I usually would have spent an hour of applying pressure to my wound to stop the bleeding. I also have purchased the Nosebleed QR and have found great success as well. Thank you drugstore.com!
