Johnson's Baby Nursing Pads rates 4 out of 5 stars, from 56 customer reviews.Best I've found
by C & E's Mom[Verified Buyer] in Sitka, AK on 11/10/09
Pros: Durable
Describe Yourself: Parent of Two or More Children
Best Uses: Breastfeeding
Bottom Line: recommended
These are the best nursing pads I've found. If you are very leaky, they absorb a lot. They are not individually wrapped (which drives me nuts with other nursing pads). And they don't usually show through clothes. The downside is that occasionally little pieces of the pad stick to my nipples.
Johnson's Baby Nursing Pads rates 4 out of 5 stars, from 56 customer reviews.can't tell they're there
by dustoff[Verified Reviewer] in california on 11/3/09
Pros: Compact, Safe For Baby, Stay Put
Cons: Bulky
Describe Yourself: First Time Parent, Medical Professional
Best Uses: Breastfeeding
Bottom Line: recommended
I switched to these after using the lansinoh brand. I am much happier with this product. They don't bunch up under my bra. When I put on a fitted shirt, you can't tell they are there. They have a raised area on them for the nipple that shows through a shirt, but it is better than looking like I have a crunch up tissue in my bra.

by Tampa Mommy[Verified Buyer] in Tampa, FL on 10/2/09
Pros: Thick and absorbant
Cons: Don't stay in place, Small coverage
Describe Yourself: First Time Parent
Best Uses: Breastfeeding
Bottom Line: not recommended
I was impressed with the material/quality of these pads. They are thick, but inconspicuous. The problem is that the diameter of the pad is smaller than most nursing pads and I found that if the pad moved around inside the bra cup, it could expose the nipple and therefore wasn't very effective.

by Mom to Three[Verified Buyer] in San Diego CA on 8/5/09
Pros: Contoured, Easy To Use, No leaks
Cons: More Expensive
Describe Yourself: Parent of Two or More Children
Best Uses: Breastfeeding
Bottom Line: recommended
These do the best job, despite the higher cost compared to other brands. They are contoured, fit naturally in the bra, and hold a great deal of liquid without leaks. I have tried them all. These are great.

I have tried them all, and found these to be the best. They are thicker than others, which means they are stiff enough so that they don't crinkle up inside your bra and scratch your skin. This also means you don't have to use the little adhesive tape backing - they stay in place pretty much all by themselves (timesaver!!). I've found them to be more breathable than those pads with a plastic backing. The outer material is very soft on the skin. [@] has the best price. The cons: the pads have a little divot in the center that looks a little sketchy if you are wearing a shirt that is tighter, and the (harmless) absorbent gel crystals can leak out if there is excessive moisture. This last bit is true of all the disposable pads out there, though.
Johnson's Baby Nursing Pads rates 4 out of 5 stars, from 56 customer reviews. No perfect pad, but like these best...

Pros: Easy To Use
Best Uses: Breastfeeding
Bottom Line: recommended
I've tried all the pads, and it's a toss up between Lansinoh and these, but my personal preference is for these. The main reason is that they're thicker than Lansinoh and don't tend to get rearranged as easily so that the tape sticks to the nipple (although this can still happen). And, they're firmer so they don't tend to crinkle and make funny shapes under your clothes. Still, the negative reviews are correct--they don't wick moisture away as much as Lansinoh so you need to change these out routinely or wear the Lansinoh if you're really leaking (esp. during early stages of breastfeeding). And if you're not careful about placement the fake nipple can end up in weird positions making one look a bit, well, different (men may be wondering at the strange effects of breastfeeding as one's nipple migrates to odd places). Don't know why they do that fake nipple thing, although it does help center the pad correctly by placing it over one's own.

Bottom Line: recommended
After having very sore nipples for 2 months with the Lansinoh pads, I tried these...They are SO soft, and have a nipple indentation that allows the nipple to free of any pressure. I used them until my nipples were not sore anymore. However the nipple indentation does show thru thin bras....so they are good for the first month or so until you don't have sore nipps anymore.

by Liz[Verified Reviewer] in CO on 4/4/09
Pros: Easy To Use
Describe Yourself: Dog owner
Bottom Line: recommended
I use these pads under a 'Mark Out' wrap on my chihuahua. He tries to 'mark' all over the house and these nursing pads have a great shape for fitting over his private area and they absorb a terrific amount. We got the dog from the pound about 9 weeks ago, and if it weren't for these pads he'd have to spend most of his time in his dog crate.
