Although this tanner did not irritate my skin, which happens sometimes, it was soooo streaky! The entire reason I bought this product was because I assumed that it would streak less than other products, but it's the worst self-tanner I've ever used. I threw it away after using it twice with bad results.

I have to admit, before I used this product I was very nervous because I have used a self-tanning product before, and lets just say it did not turn out very well. So my cousin and I both tried it together. It only took about 20 minutes for me to put it in entirely, and took 5 minutes to dry, as the bottle states. 4 hours later I was very surprised with the results!!! Not only did it give me an excellent tan, but also it looked natural...not like it came out of a bottle! I have seen no streaks on my body, no orange-tinge, and no rash. All in all, this product was great.

I bought this a day before Grad pictures. Huge mistake. Like most others, I got a rash all over my arms and neck, and IT WAS VERY STREAKY! Never again will I buy this! Now I use Sublime Bronze from L'Oreal- NO RASH!

I bought this product yesterday and I'm pretty happy with the results. I did have streaking, but I took a shower in the morning and the streaking almost completely came off and same with a lot of this "Orange" tint- but I was still tanned. My mother had been using tanning products before and help me apply on my back and did a GREAT job. The parts I did myself...not so great; takes practice I guess. I would highly recommend this product. You just REALLY have to rub it in for a while to get great results.

I bought this because I am very fair-skinned and I thought, "oohh a sunless tanner that let's you build up a tan will be so natural looking"- not at all. I woke up this morning with streaks so ridiculous that I am not leaving the house until I figure out how to scrub it off. I am not giving up on the idea of sunless tanning yet, but this product isn't worth the ten bucks. I gave it two stars because it had a really nice scent to it, and the idea is neat.

I can't say this would be bad for everyone, but it was not good for me. I got some streaks, but more importantly I have broken out in a rash all over my body (except my legs). I have never had an allergic reaction to anything, so I wasn't worried about it. It is no fun! I've had my rash for 4 days and there doesn't seem to be any signs of it clearing up. Check the ingredients and use with caution!!!

I followed the directions on the bottle, which is to cleanse and exfoliate the area before applying. After applying the lotion, my legs broke out into a rash that lasted for about 2 weeks! I will not buy again!

I've been using Build-a-Tan for about 2 months now. I have fair skin and this product gives me just enough 'tan' with an application once or twice a week. The smell is pleasant, and I haven't run into any problems with streaking or turning orange. I also use this product on my face and have had no problems with breakouts. I highly recommend it!

I am an Ex-Cancer patient. This is the best product I have ever used to achieve a tan, and believe me, I have tried many. Leaves no streaks or odd coloring. If you do get orange from product, use baking soda to remove. Hope everyone tries this; it is great.

The first time I tried this tanner I really liked it, the color was nice. But it was difficult to tell where it had already been applied and I broke out in a itchy rash that so far has yet to go away. It's been almost 2 weeks.
