I recently purchased this product and was happy with the results. I had never used a sunless tan lotion before and was very wary. I didn't notice ANY strange smells, even after a long period of time. I didn't have any streaking, except for one place I missed on one of my toes. The color change after one application was very slight - perfect for people with very fair skin who don't want to be too dark. I would definitely recommend this product. I am only giving it 4 stars because I have never used anything else, so I don't really know how it compares to other products.

I am writing to recommend this product after I saw it wasn't getting rave reviews. I purchased it early spring, and appreciate the slight color it delivers before summer hits and I want to move onto darker color. It allows you to control your shade! It works more like a lotion, so it moisturizes skin and is easy to use with little fear of mistakes. The scent is a floral at first but it does develop that signature self-tanner smell once it's developing. That is my only complaint. So, I recommend for early warm weather season and timid self-tanner users.

I was very disappointed with this product. I bought it because of the Neutrogena name. However, it streaks terribly and it's not even really that dark. I can't even tell that I put it on this morning. You'd be better off buying Banana Boat. It's the best I've found. I should've stuck with that instead of thinking there was something better out there.

I tried this and it is awful. I followed the directions exactly, and it left streaks and even spots on my legs that didn't change color! I tried it again to try to even it out, but it didn't work. Just made it worse. It was the first self tanner I've tried and I am very disappointed.

The smell at first is very good, but after about 1/2 hour it really starts to stink. The first application was good since it helped accentuate my suntan, but after the third application it started to turn orange. I didn't like the pre-sun exfoliator either; the beads are not exfoliating enough. I was really disappointed.

This product was awful. Living in South Florida, I already have a base tan, but thought I would try to go a little darker. After the first application, I thought it was nice. But then I tried it a second time, and I turned orange. The next day I was scrubbing to get the color off my feet and arms. Would not recommend this product to even my worst enemy.

I bought the whole package, including the exfoliating scrub. I followed the instructions to the letter, and I got streaks all over my body! I thought I had done it wrong and tried it a second time, but obtained the same results. This product is no good. It leaves streaks, just like a lot of other sunless tanning products. I got carried away because I had just bought one Neutrogena hair product that was great to moisturize hair, but now I know not all Neutrogena products rate the same!

I love this product!! It glides on so smoothly and smells great. I've used many sunless tanners and this one is by far the best! It's so easy to put on and after application, you don't feel sticky or smell like sunless tanner. I would recommend this to anyone! Tip: when applying sunless tanner put on plastic gloves.
