There were depressions for your toes, so they stayed in place when walking. When they switched the product to this gel pad, it became uncomfortable and bunched up under your toes, just the opposite of what you might hope it would do. I do hope they go back to their original much more effective design. It may not have lasted as long but I would rather buy ten of the originals than one of these. Comments about Profoot Care Toe Beds, Women's, 1 pr: These little Angel Pads allow me to stand at a party and focus on the people instead of my hurting feet! When my Soles are happy; I'm happy! I found turning them backwards with the pointy part facing toward the heel gives more comfort and support for the area just below the toes; that's the area that takes most of the weight when wearing heels. Ahhhhhhh! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Profoot Care Toe Beds, Women's, 1 pr: I tried two different kinds of these, and I prefer these to the Dr. Scholl's. I didn't remove the backing, and just transferred the pads from shoe to boot and tried both in all footwear. These help keep my toes from sliding down into the squash-zone, and they don't take up space to cause my shoes/boots to not fit. The Dr. Scholl pads were too silky and my foot slid right over them. These are comfy, and I'm buying more so I can remove the backing and stick them in all my heels. Best Uses Comments about Profoot Care Toe Beds, Women's, 1 pr: The manufacturer claims that the "raised toe crest" encourages "natural gripping motion," but the toe crest is barely preceptible, making this little more than an ordinary gel half-insole. Plus, the need to cut it to fit your foot is a pain. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about Profoot Care Toe Beds, Women's, 1 pr: Had these stayed put and not balled up and folded in the toes of my boots, they would have been very comfortable. but they do ball up and fold. I won't buy these again. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Profoot Care Toe Beds, Women's, 1 pr: These are fantastic in heels. They really help cushion the ball of my foot. I get bursitis in my big toe joint and these help me deal with it and still look professional at work. I have tried many kinds of insoles and these are different. They are a mushy gel filled type, which feels really good, not at all like the overpriced foot petals (which are useless). I have these in all of my heels and I highly recommend.
