Wonderfully cooling effect that does arrest the need to scratch that dry, itchy skin. Leaves skin feeling smooth, and the "calming" effect lasts all day, even in the winter, when my skin is the driest and itchiest.

Good product. It helps stop itch. But DON'T use right after scratching; it makes your skin burn. if used when skin starts to itch though, it's pretty good.

I started using this product Fall 2004. It is fantastic for my skin. I use it several times daily on my hands and it saves my finger tips so many of those awful dry cracks! Also, I blend it with another body lotion after shower, but end up using it by itself for the driest part of our winter. It goes on best on damp skin, or just after washing my hands, or add just a little water. It is verrrry soothing. My husband is a fan now, too!

My skin, especially on my legs, gets extremely dry and itchy in the cold weather. I bought this and decided to start using it before the weather turned bad, to try to prevent the damage to my legs. This stuff made my legs, which were fine, very itchy. I can't imagine what it would do to me if I used it on skin that was already red and raw. It doesn't seem to bother my hands, though. I'll stick to the Nivea Creme I usually buy, even though it's very thick and hard to spread over the entire leg.

I had some itchy, dry skin on my legs - nothing too dramatic, but it was pretty bothersome. I bought this lotion and am a big fan; it soothed my legs immediately. I've also used this for mosquito bites. It takes away most of the itch, enough so I can sleep at night. Didn't work as well as something like cortisone 10, but seemed to work for a longer amount of time.

Outstanding product. Our newborn uses it daily for extremely dry skin. It works great, absorbs quickly and is relatively non greasy. We put it on before we put her pajamas on at night. Cleared up her rough skin in a few days. No scent and nothing to irritate sensitive newborn skin.

I bought this last year. I have eczema. I used it for about a week maybe. I hated it. Something in it made my hands 10 times worse. My hands actually burned to the point it was painful. I use Eucerin products; it's just that this Calming Creme was terrible for me.
