I was hoping that this would substitute for the hard-to-find Maybelline Ultra Brow brush-on color, light brown. It doesn't -- just too dark for me. I heavily powder over it to tone it down, but will not re-order. Just hope I can find the Maybelline product before I run out completely!

I love this product and use it daily. The only problem is the applicator brush. I find it to be too soft. I purchased a stiffer brush and prefer how much easier the powder can be applied exactly where I want it. It looks quite natural. I have auburn hair and the color is right for me. Not sure I would define it as taupe. I do love this product and will continue to use it for the ease of application and natural look.

This product is OK, but needs several applications before it shows up. Although it's dark brown, it shows up rather light. I would probably try a different brow powder before purchasing this one again.

I am using this brow powder since I couldn't find another brow powder in this price range since Maybelline discontinued their eyebrow powder Ultra in light brown. This is a little reddish for "taupe" but I pile on powder on top of it and then brush off excess. That tones it down and doesn't look as red. I also use it as eye shadow on lids and above lids so all shades of brown match. I think it has a natural look since it's powder instead of painted on brows with pencils or other products.

I use this not only on my eyebrows but also as an eyeshadow on the crease of my eye. As a blonde, it is difficult to find a brow color that works well without looking fake and/or drawn on. I mix this with a small amount of face powder and it works perfect for my brows, and use as is on my eyelids.

I've used this product for years because I have pretty non-existent brows. Good product for the price, but recently discovered e.l.f. brow kit and now prefer it to this product.

I'm tired of all the eyebrow products that have an auburn tint to them. I thought since this said taupe, it would not be red/auburn. I was surprised to find how red this was. It went on great and stayed on but it was way, way too red. It seems like a nice product but the color is no way a taupe. Also, there is no where to store the brush with the powder so it might get lost easily.
