Best product for my dog!

K-9 Advantix is the best product for our dog. Here in North Carolina, we need flea, tick AND mosquito control practically year round. Our dog loves to be outdoors.. The mosquitoes love her and this is the only product that gives her 24/7 relief. It is more expensive than Frontline Plus (which does not work on mosquitoes) but well worth the money. Before switching to Advantix she would have irritated mosquito bites all over her body especially her belly. Easy to apply; directly to the skin in about 5 spots along the back. GREAT product.

I put this on my "grand dog" and it didn't do a thing for keeping the fleas off and didn't kill them. It also irritated his skin.

This product did not work on my dog at all. When I asked my vet, he said the in ineffective in our area. Our fleas just laugh at it. I recommend getting a local referral before buying it for your pet.

My Goldie-Sheltie mix loves to run off-leash in the fields. She's low to the ground, with long golden hair, and used to be plagued by ticks until I started her on Advantix. I resisted using poisons on my dog, but I can't deal with ticks and fleas - and no longer have to. Note: be sure to allow at least 3-4 days after application, before your dog goes to the groomer or goes swimming!

I got 2 8 month old dogs from the pound and they were infested with fleas. I have always used Frontline and it had worked on my other dogs fine but it didn't work when applied to these dogs. So I began buying different kinds until I bought K9 Advantage from far. This summer will be the defining test. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I hate fleas

I have found Advantix very effective in killing fleas. After using another vet brand for years, we had a flea invasion. We just could not wipe them out (treated the dogs, the house, the yard!) I switched to Advantix and the flea problem quickly went away. We also found the key to using these long acting flea/tick controls is to be sure the dog is not too clean. Apply at least one week after a bath so the dogs natural oils are distributed through the fur, so the formula is most effective. Than wait at least a week before bathing. We have no other flea problems, and use on schedule.

I applied K9 Advantix to my two ten month old puppies two days ago and they have not reacted well at all to this product. It seems to cause an enormous amount of irritation...they have not stopped rolling, brushing against the furniture, etc since I applied it. They'll stop midstream in a walk and try to bite at their backs. Other people who commented have mentioned that it works where Frontline doesn't so my guess is it's quite a bit stronger and just might not be right for dogs with sensitive skin (although I never knew my dogs had "sensitive skin" before this!). Going to give Frontline a try and hope for better results!
