Didn't start with level I or II, just went straight to III and my skin has handled it fine. I generally consider my skin sensitive-normal. Makes my skin very soft.

I love this cleanser, it's a real WOW product. After a week or so it makes your skin feel as soft as a baby's. It's a great exfoliater and pore cleanser. I recommend it to all of my friends.

I've been using this product for about a year and a half and my skin has looked almost flawless because of this. When i stop using it because i ran out and i use some normal drugstore cleanser, my mom notices and says something like "your blackheads are starting to show" or "your skin looks kind of oily". Then i start using it again and a week later my mom and people are like 'wow your skin looks so flawless, are you wearing makeup?!" I really love this cleanser. It makes my face feel so clean and takes off all the oils. I use it once in the morning and once at night. Following the directions on the back is probably why my skin looks so good. It tells you to massage it into your skin before wetting, then take a small towel with water on it and gently scrub the cleanser off. Then you can go ahead and wet your face until all the residue is off. These steps are crucial for this product to be successful. It is a strong cleanser because its a level 3, so if you have sensitive skin, you should go to the lower levels.

I've been using this for over 3yrs. I get lots of comments on how good my skin looks. I'm 46, work outside. It sure has help bring back a clear and soft skin tone.

My facialist uses this line, so I was familiar with it on occassion. I bought this and the clarisonic and my skin and pores are in excellent shape. I started with I and now am using grade III, a higher glycolic content. I would imagine its best for all types as its really mild, if you can use gyclolic.

I really really wanted to love this stuff considering it wasn't the cheapest... but it left my combination skin feeling oily and like there was a slight 'residue' left even though there wasn't. I also did not notice the "level 3" exfoliation effects... it didn't cut it. It actually caused a slight breakout, and left my eye area too dry.

At the age of 50 and still suffering from breakouts, I was spending an arm and a leg on Plexion,a prescription cleanser. I found Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash (cream or scrub) to be just as effective for about[$]a tube and my skin cleared up 100%. After reading the M.D. Forte 5-star reviews, I tried the III product for [$]a bottle. My skin started breaking out again. Thinking that I needed to give the product a chance, I used it daily for 3 weeks. My skin got worse instead of better. (Breakouts, not an allergic reaction) Anyway, I've been back on Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash and Mary Kay Acne Treatment Gel for three days and my skin is beginning to clear. Save your money.

I wouldn't be without this product. I had to work up to the level III, but this cleanser coupled with the MD Forte Lotion III is the only product I have found to keep my acne prone skin under control. I am in my early fifties and many people ask me what I use to keep my skin so smooth and young looking. I can't say enough good things about this line. I have very sensitive skin, yet this product has never irritated it in any way. A little goes a long way with the entire line. A dermatologist recommended this line to me years ago and I thank her for her wise advice.

I work for cosmetic dermatology and I have used the MD FORTE 11 for 2 years now. My son also uses the product. I have just ordered the MD FORTE 111 as I have oily skin and acne prone skin. I love this product because it helps fight acne and oily skin; just use a quarter size amount of less. It also helps to reduce pore size. It is a little pricy; however it will last a long time. I've checked for higher amounts of glycolic acid wash and haven't been able to find one. I find this product to be gentle when used with cold water. I get asked often what do I use on my face. I keep it simple and use the MD Forte and a daily sunscreen 30 SPF with zinc 7.5 or higher. I cant say enough about this product.

THIS IS THE VERY BEST CLEANSER I HAVE EVER USED. IT HELPED WITH FINE LINES AND EVENED OUT MY SKIN TONE.
