This stuff was terrible, but not for a few weeks. I was very happy with it at first, but then it started to irritate my skin, dry everything out, and totally ruined my towels. It smells like cleaning products too. Way too harsh for me.

This is a really great product! My skin is a little oily and has serious acne. I start to use it 2 weeks ago, at the first, it makes my skin a little dry, and my skin has peeled for a while. But now, my skin become softer and cleaner. though there still have 2 or 3 comedons, i feel really good. I will keep using this product.

I bought this because I was out of proactiv and though Benzoyl Peroxide is the same thing, why pay more? this line left my skin peeling though, which proactiv does not do. I did not use the toner, so I can't comment on it. The cleanser, even when more than half full is very hard to dispense from the container and under the top, it got moldy -- eww. The "repair lotion" had a watery consistency and was chalky when applied. I found I still had some proactive repair lotion which was thicker like a lotion and went on invisibly. I am a 32 year old who had cystic acne which was cured by accutane and my dermatologist recommended proactiv after accutane. I find I need to use something with BP to keep my skin acne free, but not this product. Perhaps as other reviews stated, this is great for younger more oily skin.

This product is a pretty good one... if you use a moisturizer after the third step it won't dry out your skin... the concentration of the Benzoyl Peroxide is very good, it doesn't kill your skin but it works effectively... the one thing i don't like about this product is that the microbeads are TOO fine... in my opinion, it would be better if they are slightly larger so that they can exfoliate more...

I thought it was working just fine...until I noticed flakes on my skin!!! Turns out it was drying my skin out like no other!!! I gave it to my sister who has worse acne and it seems to be working just fine. But NOT for someone with only slightly bad acne.

My face was a mess. I constantly had cysts and whiteheads all the time. I bought this as a last resort, because I didn't want to use anything with benzoyl peroxide. That usually dries out and cracks my skin. Well, I wish I would have just tried this first. It has done it's job. I no longer get cystic acne, and rarely get whiteheads. My skin is clear and smooth now. I hope they never stop making it.

I have been using this product for over 3 years now and will not use anything else. I use it every morning and night and it works miracles. I used this in the last months of school time, for a while this was wonderful. The time released BP was just what I needed. BUT, I'm not a fan of BP and it is destructive on my skin in most cases (check out my OXY chill factor and Zapzyt 10% BP Bar reviews!) so I wasn't happy or surprised when it started to dry out my skin, then it got worse (of course!) and it got so dry I had to quit. If it were a lower concentration of BP then this would be my miracle-in-bottles. But for now, AcneFree, do me a favor and change your formula to a lower percent of BP! Please!! Oh, University Medical, I did reduce using it to once a day, then every other day, made me break out more, didn't help my situation!! I will say I recommend this to people with combination or oily skin, I'm normal and this was too potent, so maybe oily skin people will love this! Also, it's worth trying.

My acne was never that bad-Just about two ar three pimples here and there- but I still wanted perfect skin. I tried this product and the first couple of days my skin itched like crazy!!! especially around the jaw line. Finally my skin adjusted and I see my skin clearing up a little bit. I still have a few pimples though. It's only been a week so maybe I have to wait a little longer. If i see a big improvement, I'll be back, If not, I'll still be back and I'll be raging mad. I spent [$].....

Cheaper and just as good as ProActiv

I use the product twice a day and the results have been just as good or better than ProActiv plus I can buy it when I need it not wait to have it shipped to me. It does bleach out dark towels but minimally, I had the same issue with ProActiv as well. Save yourself [$] and use this, they also make a severe acne version too.
