This product just wasn't for me. After 4 days of use, I got these very tiny dry bumps all over my face (My acne went away though). I can't get rid of the bumps at all. I called customer service and they said I need to use a moisturizer (which I was already using) and that nothing was wrong with the product. My face is tight, dry, bumpy, and I want to return the AcneFree. I'm trying Klear Action next.

I started using these products about 5 months ago and I like them. I'm 23 and have tried everything including ProActiv (except spending the money on a dermatologist). I have read other reviews and I think everyone should consider that every product on the market works according to your own skin. I think its worth trying and if it doesn't work for you, then try ProActiv. If that doesn't work, then you may need to see a dermatologist. I never had bad acne, but this stuff worked to clear up what I had. USE THE REPAIRING LOTION IN MODERATION. I use about a dime size and I still have some left over. Also, ANY PRODUCT WITH BENZOYL PEROXIDE is going to stain towels, clothing, etc. because Peroxide stains and it does dry out your skin, so don't use these products five times a day. I use once a day and if my skin goes through a dry spell, then I use the repairing lotion every other day with a moisturizer. AcneFree is supposed to be coming out with a moisturizer soon.

If zero stars were an option I would use it. Zits are better than a red raw face. I expected this to exfoliate my skin, but not in the final stage. The cleanser is so smooth, it isn't an exfoliator. Then the toner has alcohol in it so your face is dry by the time you get to the repairing lotion. Repair - I don't think so. This was so grainy; it was like rubbing sand paper on my dry skin. Then if you use a little more hoping to lubricate, it leaves a white splotch rather than soaking in.

This product does not get rid of acne. It only dried my skin out and made it more red and irritated. I went to the dermatologist and now my skin is beautiful. He suggested using Cetaphil cleanser because it is so gentle. I have been using the cleanser with the medicine he gave me and I haven't had a breakout yet.

I am A 24 yr. old African American. I have being using this product for about a year now. Well the first 6 to 7 months were terrific. I received excellent results. However, the last 3 to 4 have been nothing but horrible for me. I first noticed a change in the lotion. The lotion was smooth and creamy first then became very gritty, leaving white specks all over my face. After continuous use of the lotion, I notice that my skin was becoming dry. Although I probably should not have continued using the product, I proceeded. Eventually my face became very irritated, red, and overall dry. I have decided not to take the cheap way out of anything because of this, after all, you will eventually pay for it. I am currently in the process of switching to ProActiv.

I am a 20 year old African-American young lady and as far as Acne-Free ever being around my face again, I had better be dead!!!! I was in absolute desperation when I bought it because I do Panamime for school and I like to wash my face immediately afterwards so that the paint on my face doesn't break me out. Well, when I used Acne-Free the first night, my face was slightly irritated but I figured it was a part of the process and continued to use; boy what a mistake. It dried my face out terribly until it began to peel and I have a red inflamed rashes under each eye. I stopped using it as of yesterday evening and my face is still dry and peeling. I think that it should be tested before purchasing. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone especially African-American. Good luck!!!

This is the best product I have ever used! I am 40 years old and have suffered with acne since I was a teenager. This is the only product that has worked to clear up my skin and keep it acne free. I recommend this product to everyone. I have called the customer service number on the back of the box and have found them to be very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I have had. This product is GREAT!!

This is a wonderful product. I have spent thousands of dollars on my skin in the past ten years and this product is the best stuff I've ever used. In the first week YOUR SKIN WILL BE IRRITATED! STICK WITH IT! Ease yourself into the products. Give yourself two months before you decide whether or not to stick with the product. It's worth it. I was having my make-up done by an artist the other day and she had the whole staff feeling how amazing my skin was! This reaction for a girl who was on Accutane at thirteen! I'm an Acne Free user for life.

I first purchased this product for my mother who has had severe adult acne with pock marks as long as I can remember. After about 3wks, her acne is almost completely gone and her scarring is a lot less noticeable. My husband noticed the result and asked her what she was using. So then he asked me to get some for him too. He has moderate rosacea and very sensitive skin. I told him to only use it once daily instead of 2x so it wouldn't dry out his skin. WOW, what a result!!! He used it and went to bed...the next morning his face was almost completely clear. It's been about a week and the swelling and redness on his face is gone except for a spot on his nose about the size of a small pea. I would recommend this to anyone, but if you have sensitive skin only use a tiny bit of the product (less than a penny size) once a day until you know how you will react to it. Many people are allergic to benzoyl peroxide, so if your face breaks out worse...STOP IMMEDIATELY.

I did not break out at all from this!!! I love this product; I have been using it everyday for about 1 1/2 months now, and I have not had one pimple since. I do not use the lotion all over my face anymore because it was drying, so I wash my face in the morning and use my own lotion. Spots where I get pimples often is where I put the Acnefree lotion. I love this product.
